Came to this location after really enjoying the Gilbert Cafe. Let me start off by saying the help was lovely. The space is big as they took over the restaurant next door. Almost too stark and not as comfortable homey feel as the other location. Interestingly enough, my Iced Americano wasn't nearly as good either. Very tasteless and watery - I drank it black and still no taste. As the other location, not diggin the cream/milk extra charge. Def not hanging here again.

It's like waking into a Harry Potter tent... small storefront and you walk in to a large space! It was so unassuming... in a neat old strip mall area that didn't seem bustling but so many people inside. Lots of tables and most people are working on laptops. The guy taking my order was very friendly and suggested the vanilla mint nitro.. which was very Nitro. I didn't take it to go so it cave in a nice glass which is so nice. He asked about my day and thanked me for coming. It was a very enjoyable visit.

When I tell you I was excited to hear this location was opening, that would be an understatement. I love Mythical, but am about 40 minutes from the Gilbert location so I don’t go as often as I would like to. This location is under 10 minutes away so I knew I had to visit ASAP! They do not disappoint, all the same charm, flavors, welcoming atmosphere, and great coffee down at the OG location. The coffee here is exceptional, and I highly recommend you try and seasonal drink as they are incredibly well crafted and delicious. Can’t wait to add this place into my routine!

Their honey lavender latte with their homemade almond milk will ALWAYS be my favorite coffee. If you haven’t tried it yet, you need to! I will drive from anywhere in the city to enjoy their coffee! This has been a staple since moving to AZ & you are missing out if you haven’t been yet!

Great customer service, staff was nice coffee selection was good with many milk options. We ordered a large Americano with light cream and unfortunately the cream was bad as it separated. I had a small latte with oatmilk and we both had blueberry scones. The scones were good a little wet but great flavor.

Visiting Scottsdale, we looked up highly rated roasters / cafes and decided on Maverick. While a bit off the beaten path, my experience is that you sometimes find the best coffee in such places. The ones that are hyped on social media usually are not always the best places. It turned out to be a great choice. I always know what I want, but traveling with family, the lady at the register fielded the many questions from my 9 yr old to adult children patiently and pleasantly. The coffee was quite good, as were the pastries. Overall, a nice start to the day, and worth a return visit whenever in the area.

Skip this place, fancy Dutch bros just not even close to as good. Coffee? I can’t even rate it because I ordered and paid for extra shots and all I got was pure oat milk. $8 oat milk okay. Lame. Update; Seen your response, so you guys chose to discredit my review by trying to say I didn’t come in? I got a strawberry rose (latte?) not sure didn’t say, with an extra shot, with oat milk. I really don’t know why you would say I didn’t come in. Obviously I did. Typical poor business practice trying to discredit an honest review. Here’s what I have to say, I am sorry you didn’t enjoy my review, but I did come in and I didn’t have a great experience. Thank you.

Maverick Coffee is an excellent craft coffee stop. It has a very chill vibe. The coffee beans are fresh. Todays espresso grind was their Chimera Nicaragua blend. The breve cappuccino was delicious as was the latte. We frequent coffee shops across the country. Maverick is one of the best in the valley. Finding amazing craft coffee made my day. If you’re a coffeeholic like me, you will enjoy this desert treat!

Great coffee and delicious food. The breakfast burrito was delicious, and a good portion. The inside was cozy and clean, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. Then we got some cookies and a muffin for dessert: again, delicious.

Breakfast Burrito was surprisingly delicious. It was very flavorful and a little spicy heat, big for me but not man-sized for the price. We both recommend the burrito! The coffee was a tad disappointing. Both of our coffee’s tasted weak to us, which is shocking since they take the time and effort to roast. It’s odd that the place doesn’t smell like coffee either, we all noticed that. I got the orange cardamom which is mild, honey like sweetened flavor and was uniquely wonderful but in their coffee mellowed out. My spouse got the mocha, also not very flavorful in coffee or chocolate but ok. Staff was friendly, wore masks at counter, and helpful. Love having alternative milk options. Nice vibe but in an eclectic older plaza.
