Kahlel Salahudeen’s bedside manner is honestly the worst I’ve ever experienced. Our conversation during my visit ranged from him making negative comments towards the U.S military (I was in uniform). My cell phone service provider being awful because I couldn’t get signal in the room to show him my past lab work. And how if nothing else is working to treat my symptoms that I should just move away from Arizona. The breaking point for me was when I said certain medications have not worked for me in the past and him still writing down that I should try to take them again in my chart. I waited months for this appointment to feel like I wasn’t heard at all and to be insulted on top of it all was just awful. Please reconsider practicing medicine.

Dr Yakoob is one of the best Pulmonary Doctors. He is the most personable doctor I have ever encountered and his staff is always so friendly and helpfull. We have never waited more than 15min, including time for intake to see the doctor. We are in and out of our appointments ALWAYS in a timely manner. We go to this office often to see DR YAKOOB. He is a 5 Star all the way!

I have had positive experiences at sunrise medical. Dr Hrabak is a wonderful immunologist who helped me understand my diagnosis. He has also seen my children for allergies.

I noticed a lot of reviews on here are for the wrong place! This is not “Surprise Medical” or an Eye Care place. This office is for mostly Pulmonary specialist. Also some complaints are even for a primary care facility, unrelated reviews for a different office. Google was contacted numerous times about misinformation. As you can see reviews are for "SURPRISE" medical center not "SUNRISE", however, they have not removed this misinformation.

Waited over a month to get an appointment with deteriorating asthma and they refused to see me because I hadn't had a COVID test! Amazing you can't even go to the doctor anymore because of this! Now I'm forced to go to the emergency room because of this. Very poorly treated. Very dissatisfied.

Had an appointment with Dr. Salahudeen regarding sleep evaluation for a new C-Pap machine. He sent an order for a sleep study to a Sleep Lab they use but they didn’t accept my insurance. I waited 3 weeks for the Sleep Lab to contact me for an appointment which never happened. I called the Sunrise office & spoke to Denise, Dr. Salahudeen’s nurse. After playing phone tag with her, she told me about the Sleep Lab not accepting my insurance. Nothing had been done after that. No phone call to me explaining what had happened OR that they had sent another order to a different Sleep Lab. I emailed my Primary doctor to let her know about the issue & that I was unhappy with Sunrise’s handling of the situation. She called them & asked them what was going on. They told her that they had sent another order to another Sleep Lab. She called that Sleep Lab & was told they didn’t have an order from Sunrise for me. I told my Primary to schedule me with another provider - I don’t want to go back to Sunrise. In addition, I had taken my C-Pap machine with me to my appointment with Dr. Salahudeen to show him that I needed a new machine (it’s 20 years old). The nurse, Denise left the room & in a loud voice to the staff said, “She’s got a 20 year old C-Pap in there”. Very unprofessional & unacceptable.

I work for another doctor’s office, and today on January 31 as a simple courtesy I called your Surprise office because we received something via fax by mistake. I was blown away at how ignorant and unprofessional your front desk woman is. She was snippy and I would never want to go there if I needed to as a patient, as she is the first impression of your office.

I really like Dr. Ariff and have been her patient before my Breast Cancer diagnosis. She has a new medical assistant that is as Cold as a fish. She was reviewing my medical history and never once looked at me. She ask me questions and then gave me the the wrong answers. Dr. Ariff is a great doctor and I enjoy being her patient.

They are not called SURPRISE Medical Center for no reason. They like to surprise you with inflated bills and send you another bill after you’ve already paid for everything in full, out of your own pocket even before they let you in, paid for yet another undisclosed charge, you guessed it, out of your own pocket. Most unprofessional, incompetent, rude and careless people I had the misfortune of dealing with. Their motto should be “We Don’t Give A Damn”
