Carnitas with salsa verde. Delicious. I didn’t make it to lunchtime. This burrito is stuffed with goodness. At $4.49 this is a true value. The carnitas is cooked perfectly. All gone! Can’t wait to try one of the other varieties.

It's Trader Jos so this place is amazing. It's pretty clean, however it does get very busy. Parking is horrible if you come on a weekend because it's located in the Prune yard shopping center which is packed on weekends or happy hour or lunch times.

Avoid this TJ like the plague. Poor customer service, nightmarish parking, and too crowded. I have asked managers on multiple occasions to tell their staff to stop overloading single bags that are not only hazardous to carry because they’re too heavy, but the paper bags also break leaving customers with groceries ruined all over the street, only to be refunded. Managers say they are sorry but the problem continues to occur. Certain staff are too distracted or careless to bag groceries safely. I will not return to this location.

Joyful shopping experience, for sure, they just don't have the same selection as larger grocers. If you do go, though, grab the Caramel Coffee Cashews--they're fantastic.

Nice enough. Crowded parking.... .... Somehow their cheese always molds faster than the blocks from a regular supermarket, like it's recut in a warehouse with lots of mold spores. Idk. I worry about food freshness here and got nasty food poisoning from one of their vegetable dips. ... I keep going back though. Can't tell if that's a good thing or a bad thing. I'm more careful about what I buy from here, now.

I have lived in San Jose for 18 years and I like to buy my fruits and vegetables in different places every 3 or 4 days so that they are always fresh. As we live 8 minutes from Pruneyard we go to have coffee many times a week and I take the opportunity to do my shopping in Trader Joe's. Before entering there is a good selection of plants and flowers, I have several succulents from there for my collection. The attention is careful, the few times I need help I quickly found someone to guide me. I love the tropical vibe of their shirts and I always buy something else because their prices and quality are very good. I highly recommend it, is a very nice place. ✅ Update March 2022 No mask needed 😁

This is my market. It's the only place I can find boneless and skinless salmon. Their plants are also very affordable! Staff is always nice and helpful. Great selection of healthy different foods, vegetables and breads.

This is my usual place for grocery. A bit small but has a good selection of things I need. Parking is always a challenge. Most staff are friendly except maybe one or two. I was shocked today how one staff with name initial C.A. could change instantly from being super exuberant and friendly to the customer before me, to being deadpan, rude and disrespectful to me, unprovoked. 😅

Was truly 5 stars on the inside. Well stocked smaller location. But clean, organized. Good signage to lead you around. I find Trader Joes products to be of higher quality. They seem to always have a great selection of fresh flowers at this location. Only 4 stars because the parking is fairly difficult. Right and crowded. Overall, a good store. Very visible from Bascom, a major street.
