Sage is by far the best emergency care facility I've been to. I've taken two of my dogs to two different locations, and tonight in Concord they handled everything beautifully! My sweet girl was bit by another dog and Sage was quick to answer the call. They said it could be up to a 4 hour wait, but once I got there I was done within 1.5 hours. The vet was honest and clear with my options, handled my baby with care and love as if she were his own, and eased my worries. Not only was the visit great, but they didn't charge me an arm and a leg!

Amazing staff and facility. My poor pup ate some grapes that had grown over from my neighbors yard and they took every precaution to make sure that he was okay and I am SO thankful to the staff for being so kind to him and getting him through this. Don’t hesitate to bring your pet here, emergency or not 😊

SAGE has great specialty veterinarians and efficient emergency services. We’ve found all their vets & staff to be kind and helpful. With our senior critters, they were creative and resourceful in finding ways help maintain the best quality of life. We are thankful to have them in our community!

Our 6 month old puppy broke his leg playing in the backyard a few days ago. Panicked and desperate, we took him to several locations in our area. In complete shock we were turned away, as there were no surgeons available. One place even told us our puppy would have to wait a week to be seen! After calling a few other places and hearing the same thing, we finally connected with Sage in Concord, success!!! After a sleepless night, they got him in the very next morning. And the experience and care we received was incredible! The entire care team from start to finish was knowledgable, communicative, compassionate and kind. Everything was very transparent which is a sigh of relief when you're very upset about your injured fur baby. Dr. Dosch was top notch!! We cannot begin to say enough good things about Sage in Concord and will go straight here in the future for quality care for our dogs!!

If I could give 10 stars to this veterinary center, I would. These folks really have their act together. I never had to wait more than a few minutes to see a vet. I was treated with patience and compassion every step of the way by all the staff. The vet and vet techs spent lots of time answering my questions and giving me tips to make my caregiving job easier. All veterinary care is expensive these days and this place is no exception but I truly believe they gave my little dog the very best chance of returning to a normal life once she has recovered. I am a veteran of the health care industry myself and I know when the care that is being given is driven by compassion and superior knowledge. Both of these qualities were evident to me as my dog was being cared for by Sage Vet Center in Concord. Kudos to the wonderful vets and their staff...I am most grateful!! We had a traumatic experience with an accident that both of my dogs got in. The vets, nursing staff, and front office staff were all extremely helpful, compassionate, and caring over the 4 day span that we were there. I felt like they always took extra time for our family. They explained everything clearly and thoroughly. They are in a brand new location that is very nice. I hope I never have to come back but I wouldn’t think twice if my animals had a problem again. Thank you SAGE for your care of my pets. ❤️

The service my dog and I received was wonderful. We had an emergency and those it took some time for him to be seen, the care he was given was very compassionate, loving and of concern. When the vet called me about my dog condition, she explain his problem in everyday terms and not medical terms (which I would have never understood). Because we love our animal so much the price did matter, but their prices are very reasonable. Thank you to everyone who took care of R.B. You guys are the best!

When my cat became suddenly ill Sage was there to provide quick and effective treatment. I thought he had a broken paw, but it turned out he had a blood clot, which can be fatal! The doctor was able to diagnose and treat him within 1 hour! They even cleaned him up after he soiled his carrier. The emergency drop-off process is very smooth and easy, just let them know you're coming ahead of time. The COVID process involves drive-up and hand-off of your pet right from your car, no need to go inside. Most communication is done over the phone. Dr. Beverly was exceptional, very friendly and knowledgeable. He explained exactly what was wrong and what future treatment options might look like. They offered follow-up testing with a cardiologist to help better understand my cat's condition and how to treat it. He even sent my cat's X-rays to another doctor for a second option. Spike is now on the road to recovery and has already improved noticeably within 24 hours. I felt the prices were reasonable compared to other clinics. Plus they have top-notch staff and seem very reliable and compassionate. I trust Sage for honest and effective treatment. I would definitely take my cat here again for further treatment.

Best emergency vet I’ve been to ever! My cat recently had a health scare, I called everywhere to try and get seen but every clinic was at capacity. Sage was happy to take him in and they made the experience incredibly easy. We got answers in a matter of hours and everything turned out just fine. Would definitely recommend Sage if you need an emergency clinic for your animal.

Highly recommend Sage for any pet emergencies. We were treated kindly, expediently and the care the veterinarian gave our dog was excellent. They are well staffed and everyone we encountered was competent, caring and seemed to be happy working there. We will take our pets there for any future emergency needs.
