This is not a retail location, so customer service takes employees away from their tasks so service can be a bit slow. However, you can drop Priority Mail packages there before the last Oakland truck leaves (don't expect a scan, the bins are on the dock), and they can get you mail pieces that need a signature if you have the paper from the mailman.

Just echoing the other reviews noting that this is not a retail location. Honestly, it'd be more helpful if Google Maps updated the location name to "USPS Distribution Center" or something that gives a better indication as to what this place is, because I wasted time driving over to this location when I could have just gone somewhere else right off the bat.

They don’t accept prepaid packages after 4:30 PM on weekdays. Meaning that they actually close at 4:30 PM not 5 PM. They don’t even bother working or helping anyone within half an hour of their supposed closing time. I’ve suggested an edit of the hours of this location so other people aren’t deceived. Just another way the USPS gets paid for doing less work!!

Hello People! Get over it! Its exactly what is says. It's a distribution center for postal carriers and commercial drops! NOT a typical post office with a counter, and staff, and po boxes, etc. It has NONE of these things. This is where the mail you get delivered at your house comes from! There is an outgoing mail box in the parking lot. You can drop prepaid packages in the bin at the loading dock. You can collect your held mail using the bell for service. That's about ALL you can do here. READ the description and the signs. If you want a counter etc. Go to Warm Springs, or Ohlone or Irvington!

They process mail there. To the of my knowledge they don't have a customer service center to mail packages, etc. All I could find was a drive up mailbox in their parking lot.

Arrived to be confused on where to go in, tried to call but gives no option to speak with anyone about where to even enter building. Came to get money order and envelope, would've been nice to know that this is only a distribution center. A bit upset I wasted gas and time circling the parking lot for no reason.

This is only a delivery station. There is no retail service or window clerks available at this station. Please go to Irvington Station or Warm Springs Station for the retail service. Thank You.

It's not a regular post office but you can drop off pre-paid packages by the dock area. There's a door bell and someone will come assist.

I went to pick up my package and there's an Indian lady served me. I gave her the signed mail notice and my passport. But she didn't allow me to pickup. The reason she said is ridiculous. She said there might be someone else using the same name and the passport won't prove that it is me. There's a photo of mine and my first and last name on my passport. If passport couldn't prove one's identity. What documents people needs to bring to pick up the package? Feel really unsatisfied with this visit. Every time I pick up the package at this location, the staffs are nice and patient except this time. Can't bear this lady's way dealing with customers.
