My phone was obliterated in an accident near Sherman Oaks. I walked into their Apple Store and was told they didn't have any walk-in availability and that my best bet would be to schedule an appointment with my local Apple Store, that being the downtown Tower Apple Store. Upon arriving for my appointment at the Tower Apple Store, I was informed that I had made an appointment to BUY A NEW IPHONE, and that what I really needed to do was make an appointment for the genius bar. As a result, I attempted to inform the employee at the front of the store that this was my second trip to an Apple Store that day, and that my phone is a non-functioning paperweight and that making another appointment would be a serious set-back. I asked if there was anything he could do, possibly just have me meet with the person I had already made an appointment for, and just do the exchange that the AppleCare coverage, that I pay for, entails. I was subsequently informed that regular sales agents are apparently INCAPABLE of doing AppleCare incident related exchanges, and can only assist in the sale of a new phone. Apparently, only the elite team of highly trained Apple GENIUS' can bring out a new phone while simultaneously taking a broken phone. The employee also stated to me, that the downtown store was short staffed on Genius employees, ostensibly gearing their teams towards more sales as opposed to repairs. This is despite the fact that it's late August, the new phone is coming out in September, and only a genuine nincompoop would be purchasing a new iPhone right now. I was also informed my best option would be to try to drive another Apple Store, 30 minutes away, to go try my luck with their walk-in situation. The employee I was speaking to also made it clear to me, that he was completely incapable of making any autonomous decisions related to appointment scheduling, per Apple Store policy. The other reviews I've read for this store don't even seem to be from actual human beings. "Guides" upon "guides" trying to characterize a literal Apple Store as a meaningful contribution to Los Angeles history, without any consideration for the ACTUAL SHOPPING EXPERIENCE IN THE STORE. This Apple Store is a fantastic tourist trap for people visiting from places where a 3 story building is considered a skyscraper, but if you actually live here, and need to purchase a phone or computer, for you know, work or something, unfortunately the actual shopping experience will make you want to play in traffic.

The nicest Apple store that I’ve ever been to. This place used to be the Theater so its design is so unique and beautiful. You can walk upstair to see the whole view of the store. They have plenty of seats upstair so you can sit down and relax, chill and enjoy the atmosphere.

This building was restored to its glory sympathetically and with the highest care possible. Apple really went over and beyond the expectation. The moment you step into this building, you can see all the details being brought back to its glory or even better. A must place to visit.

Another showstopper by Apple, this location is the elegant evidence that you can bring two opposites together in perfect harmony. The store is well organized, the customer service is as usual top notch, and the products, as we all know, are incomparable. If not for nothing, it's worth a visit just to see how cool this store is. Only bet on paid parking around the store, street parking is a bad gamble. They don't have a lot of their own. Generally parking around there tends to go for a flat rate of $10; and this is the only reason why there is a star missing on this review.

What an iconic location! I visited Tower Theater almost 10 years ago for a small concert, it is amazing to see the transformation! Apple definitely did a great job on this historical preservation.

Wowed! My eyes much appreciated the history and beauty of this building. Thanks to Apple for remodeling and giving it life! The products are neatly placed and modernized look. The apple employee Juan was very polite efficient and very saavy. Took care of my phone issue and made me feel very comfortable inside. The parking situation is not clear. So it can take a while to ding a place to park. You need to make an appointment to see a member. There’s a long wait to see a member depending on the issue. Worth the visit and the amusement.

Well this place is breathtaking so beautiful it gives some type of feeling while buying Apple products here. The atmosphere is so vibrant the big screen needs good show to be playing. I’m not going to lie it was kinda of hard to get help here but when I did it was a seamless transaction and hey the guy was friendly and sort of knowledgeable. Lol but hey no one is perfect Only one. I would take a whole tour and take the elevator to see some of the restoration process hung one the wall.

Apple does it again. It takes a dilapidated movie theater and turns it into a magical place to sell and service their products. They could’ve just gone into any store front but I decided to take on a project and make it beautiful. The staff knows what they’re doing and are incredibly pleasant. All in all an incredible experience I wish more companies treated their customers this way.

This is the best Apple Store in LA hands down. You can spend over two hours here and not even realize it. It's such an inviting atmosphere. Staff is so friendly and welcoming. They gave us a quick rundown on the building and it's history. It's like going to a museum without having to pay for admission, unless you purchase something which is probably why you're there in the first place. Go check out this beautiful gem of LA history.
