Great way to stock up on Asian staples, at solid prices. I could carry on, but it's a simple store that's simply good at what it does! (Those ox tails are very tempting for some beef stock, one of these times I'm gonna get 'em)

Awesome market and my go-to. Great selection of frozen dumplings and TONS of instant ramen (they have a ramen aisle)! Fresh noodles (packaged and fridged) aplenty; a respectable produce section; tons of cooking sauces (soy, cooking sake, etc) to choose from. This place has pretty much everything I need/want. Come here once and you'll definitely be back!

Beautifully curated selection of Culturally Asian home goods. Friendly and helpful staff. I loved the pickling pots and the variety of sizes!!!

So amazing. The Black security guards are friendly and hecka funny. The makeup counter person is so helpful. The fish is super fresh, like you went fishing but didn't have to do the yuck stuff. My random find cheese corn dogs- cheese with corn dog batter. My veggie friends loved these.

Fresh veggies and fruits. Meat selection is always great. Decently priced and clean for an Asian market.

Awesome experience just walking through this place- a true Asian market. I would also recommend buying produce here…it is the right price and generally pretty fresh. If you need cheese, American snacks, etc…go elsewhere bc the prices got those items are double Safeway’s

A little inexpensive compared to any Korean groceries in the city or Peninsula. Don’t know if this location scares some people away as a lot of various foot traffic on Broadway traverse outside. Noticed they have Security lately though. Parking could be a little tricky and not a lot of room since it gets filled up quick. The annex for household misc is still there and have some interesting items that are somewhat pricey considering Amazon, I think they have a reward program for frequent shoppers as well.

FYI no Apple Pay. No discover. But takes Amex. Hit or miss at this one for items we need…but it’s clean and there’s parking.

KP market is a good place for Korean and Asian home goods and groceries. There is some parking available but it can be tight at peak times. It’s good that they provide disposable plastic gloves and gel station for their customers during these Covid times.

I am always impressed when businesses in Oakland have free parking! Koreana Plaza Market's parking lot even has security guards. I was taking a picture of a sign in the parking lot, and a security guard walked over to see what I was doing. Before I entered the main market, I decided to check out there side store that has lots of non-food items. To get in both stores, first you are required to put on gloves, and then hand sanitizer. They have some very cool large ceramic pots with lids, besides a full gamut of pots, woks, and utensils. There us a lot to see. Some of the produce looked a little neglected--some were wilted. They have fish that are waiting to go home with someone--really fresh--they are alive!!! There is a fish monger there if you want someone to handle the fish. Most of the food market is filled with a huge amount of dry products that are in bags and boxes: seeds, noodles, spices, and more. A little overwhelming if you are new to shopping for Korean foods, and really great if you want variety. They have Korean cuts of beef; lots of frozen fish; refrigerated convenience ethnic foods; and freshly prepared foods ready to eat. I bought some, and ate it in the parking lot (in my car). Yum yum. I will come here again.
