I have read every review posted here as of June 28, 2022. I have been a patient visiting this lab location for at least ten years. Most negative experiences I encountered were pre-pandemic. The biggest challenge this location has appeared to have is/was insufficient staffing. Even up until late 2021, there still appeared to be a staffing shortage. In my opinion, operations have improved significantly since the end of 2021/early 2022. Today, there were two technicians checking in patients, while the phlebotomists were at work seeing patients. The facility appeared clean. My phlebotomist was great and she followed proper safety protocol. I arrived at 6:30am without an appointment, and was out the door by 7:00am. Patients were being checked in quickly, mainly by the kiosks. However, there appeared to be a glitch in the self check-in program as it was telling patients that "something went wrong" with check-in and to proceed to the front desk, which caused some minor confusion. That aside, the technicians were courteous and professional. They disclosed to me what tests might not be covered by insurance so I knew in advance. I can't speak to the specific negative experiences some reviewers have had. I assume LabCorp has an independent auditor scrutinizing their operations. Even if they don't, diagnostic laboratories are subject to numerous audits by multiple federal regulatory agencies, as well as Medicare and Medicaid and commercial insurers. The biggest issue I see with the LabCorp locations I have visited is space. The amount of patients at any time can cause some chaos and confusion. I think these locations would be better served if they could reevaluate their queuing and check-in procedures to help make things flow smoother and more efficiently. Overall, a painless experience. 👍

Tanya was the sweetest and best phlebotomist I have ever had! She was kind, gentle, and made me laugh early in the morning.

Lab tech who drew blood didn't change gloves. I had to ask her too. She then placed the alcohol swab on a counter and attemped to swab the injected site with it! I had to ask her6 to yse a diff swab. Unsanitary!!!

My husband went to Lap Corp today 4/21/22 in Manalapan NJ off union hill rd. Went into bathroom and was beyond DISGUSTING. There was God only knows what on the floor. Water pee, etc.!! He told 3 different people about it and they could care less. He said you need to block off with something so no one uses, again no reaction and could care less. He called the board of health.!! This is beyond UNACCEPTABLE!! I pray he doesn't get sick!

Terrible :( so unprofessional and rude. I was the first one to check in for a scheduled appointment, and everyone that walked in AFTER me for walk ins, got called in before me. I had to look for someone to break them apart from they’re laughing and talking group of nurses to help. Unprofessional and unethical. Embarrassing.

My best technician is Pregna. She always helps with my superficial veins which can be stressful for me when I need to do blood work. Thank you Pregna for being so skillful!!

DO NOT go to this Labcorp. This facility, as someone else just pointed out, does what it wants to do. The bathroom is unsanitary, there was no soap, and the door wouldn't lock either. You would think during times like this they would be more responsible. They incorrectly billed my insurance last time and I really don't have any other choice. If they did their job correctly by paying attention for 30 seconds, I wouldn't have to have gone back and forth with my insurance for hours and hours to correct their mistake. all 6+ staff members are female and of indian descent, which is fine but it doesn't speak to being an equal-opportunity employer. When I visited, there were patients brought into the room for blood drawing but were told to wait 20+ minutes while all of the staff exchanged holiday gifts rather than attending elderly patients. There is no sense of privacy, they openly discuss personal information aloud while keeping the doors open, which is certainly a HIPAA violation. They also recently changed their hours and are no longer open on weekends - only when it's convenient for them. This facility has gone downhill from what it used to be. Utterly unprofessional.

This location is unethical and unprofessional. They create their own rules and don’t seem to follow LabCorp protocol. So if you can go somewhere else, do yourself a favor and do so. First they told me they don’t accept walk ins without an appointment, when LabCorp confirmed this location does/should. Their own automated system, website and emails say that appointment is not required. Then they told me they wouldn’t let me take the PCR test on-site unless it was for travel or basic diagnostic. Again, LabCorp specially states that they do NOT test for travel or general diagnostic. You only qualify for a visit if you had symptoms before, are symptom free now, and have a doctors prescription, all of which I had. Then they made me purchase the PCR kit online ($120), not even taking the time to review my prescription, where they’d see that my doctor already ordered it. Turns out insurance covers these only if you were exposed or sick, but they refuse to take you if you were exposed or sick. Which is contrary to LabCorp policy and is clearly in place for them to get paid more. And after making me jump thru all these hoops, they still turned me away for no reason. I wasn’t rude or disrespectful, and followed all their procedures. When being turned away, I asked to speak to the manager. One of the ladies at the front desk pretended to go to the back office, and came out 5 mins later saying she spoke to the manager already and s/he said no. How unethical and disrespectful!! This place gives LabCorp a bad name! Luckily a different facility was able to see me. What a horrible experience here. Save your time and money and go somewhere else!

We did a walkin for Pediatric collection, the staff is very helpful and completed the overall process less than 30 mins.
