Do not waste your money!! If you're looking for an uncomfortable, unsatisfactory, and disrespectful to your hair experience, this is the place for you. I had my hair cut by Rebecca at Delta Shore's Great Clips: Address- 8152 Delta Shores Cir S Ste 110, Sacramento, CA 95832 Dated: March 6th, 2022. I provided Rebecca with a picture of what I wanted to achieve: under shoulders length with layers. Before proceeding, I asked to confirm if she had experience in doing this cut and would be able to achieve that look. I gave her a picture as a guideline!! Rebecca responded yes with great confidence. After cutting my hair to the end goal length, she quoted "ok well with layers, it's going to be much shorter" I was like what?? I said I want the end goal at this length. She reassured me that it will be fine and she can give me the desired layers. Rebecca started with the layers cut on one side and asked me what I thought of it. This was so horrific!! It was a flat, choppy straight line of layers. I told her "no, it needs to be blended layers. This is way too choppy" She goes "well that's what layers are". I said "no. I know what layers are. I've had layers before. I want it blended. This is too choppy". And she expressed, "well it's your hair color. Thats why it's choppy". I said "no, it isn't my hair color. I'm talking about the cut. There's a good 3-4 inches and it's flat in between". Rebecca responded with how it is because my hair is "thick just like hers" and it becomes "choppy because the hair type is too thick". I left unhappy, unheard, and disappointed. She disregarded my feelings and felt confident in giving me the cut I wanted but left me with a jumble of trash. As a stylist, your job is to be honest to the client about whether or not the cut is within your skill level! Don't just cut it because you're desperate to have a customer. Now I had to spend extra money to get it fixed. Pictures attached for reference. My original hair, goal haircut, what I received. Great service. My daughter's first haircut at an establishment was done here and she didn't know all the terminologies and was nervous. She had her hair cut and didn't know what layering was so she opted not to have it done. After she got him, showered and dried her hair, she realized she didn't like the abrupt look and finally understood what the hair stylist meant by layering. I took her back the next day and her stylist was more than gracious to add the layering and helped my daughter understand more terminologies and corrected her hair to her satisfaction. She didn't charge my daughter to fix her hair, but of course I went and tipped her because she helped my daughter learn, too. I'm giving a full 5 stars for our stylist's patience and kindness.

Decided to take my 6 Year old there cuz the location near your house closed. I wish I got the woman's name that cut his hair, but she did a great job and I'm very happy with it. Only had to wait a couple minutes too after checking in with the app, not a big deal at all. I showed her the picture my son wanted, and she went to work. I love how it turned out and she even was able to maneuver the cowlick and make it work with his new cut. Not many people have been able to do that.....actually no1 has. We'll definitely be back.

My last time (first visit was fine, nice, and quick). This time, I did online check in, arrived with my name on top of the list, and then the #2 person was called in front of me, even tho the stylist asked me when I walked in “Did you check in already?” To which I replied, “Yes”. 👎🏼

Quite atmosphere, very clean and professional stylists are three strong attributes of this great clips location. If you are willing to travel 10-20 minutes and your nearby great clips location has a long wait, swing by delta shore location and get the best service.
