These were the prettiest flowers I have ever seen!! I have never seen this beautiful color before. It liked a different color from different directions. If I weren't traveling I wouldn't have left that store without one! Clean store. Great lighting outside as my friend and I had to wait for an Uber. We joined the rewards program and saved money. Great score on vacation!

I usually find specialty produce items here that other stores seem to run out of. I have found overall grocery prices are higher than competitors.

This is the Vons closest to my house and I shop here often. I stopped at the deli and stood there for 14 mins while only one guy was working at the counter. We had 6 people waiting. I asked another deli employee (Gabino) that appeared from the back if anyone else was working. The employee told me no and that he was busy in the back. Too busy to help paying customers? The older gentleman working at the counter was overwhelmed and did not see me at the other end of the deli. I was skipped over by 4 people. The older gentleman apologized but the other employee just disregarded me altogether. Horrible customer service.

It’s not the best Vons in San Diego by any means, but it’s certainly nowhere near the bottom. The carts are usually pretty poor quality but the inside is clean and well stocked.

This Vons can be very busy. Only been here a few times but parking can be tough. The store seems clean overall and well-stocked. There are only 4 self-checkout kiosks.

I did a large pick-up order (over $200) via their phone app (1/22/2022). I selected NO SUBSTITUTIONS and Text Message notifications. I received no texts and had items substituted that were twice the price of the sale Item I had selected. I had another substitution with an item I could not use. They refused to credit me without coming in, so I asked to speak with a manager. I left a message and when I received no reply, I called again. The manager was off for the day, but the young man who was in charge in her place assured me he would call the app department and credit my account the next day. That was a week ago, and no credit has been applied. I usually do delivery by Amazon or pickup from Sprouts, but was hoping Von's on Balboa would be an alternative. I won't be ordering from them again. Edit: after the company response below, I tried calling again. I was told a credit would be given and that someone would call me to confirm. I see on my statement that the credit was applied--no call back was received. I updated my stars from one to three. However, I am very disappointed in the time and effort it took to resolve this issue. I may try another pick up order. If I do, I'll tell how it went.

Average Vons grocery. Aisles were pretty narrow, but their selection was pretty good. Check out was smooth with little wait. Store condition was A+. Parking A+
