Dr.Kang and all the staff are caring and great with my puppy Nova. I read some reviews that they are offering a discount with a 5 star review, however that’s not true in my case. My review is in fact an honest 5 star! They deserve it there for their work and care for animals

I personally do not like leaving any negative reviews, but I hit a low point yesterday. I wish I would have read the negative reviews because it looks like they are true. I took my pet to this vet and when she was really sick they were not honest to tell me they did not know what was wrong, was not given prescription and I should have seen a specialist. Instead I was left believing the Doctor knew how to make her better. Instead her pneumonia got worse and her quality of life was so poor after a week of seeing him that a couple days later she had to be euthanized.

This Vet Hospital is one of the best one's I have been to. As most hospitals or vets are not taking new clients, I called with a semi-emergency, they were able to get me in immediately and worked with me considering my situation. Thank you so much Rancho Sequoia Veterinary Hospital. We will be back for future services.

I take Mr. Kitty here all the time and Dr. kang is so great with him. Even though he is very aggressive at the office he still receives lots of love and compassion from all the staff. Dr Kang treated his bladder infection with no issues. Very thankful for the nurses and the patient kind staff there . Will always recommend Dr Kang and this practice :)

So kind and caring. I always Recommended this place to everyone I know. Dr kang is very knowledgeable and patient with my kitties . Even though my kitties aren’t the nicest he’s very understanding. I wish I would have found this place sooner MUCH better than the other vets in Simi.

I never leave reviews but my experience with this place was pretty terrible. If it isn't obvious, the reason they have so many 5 star reviews is because they send you a text offering a discount on your next visit if you leave a perfect review. I brought my dachshund in who had started displaying mild IVDD symptoms, but he was still walking. They were able to get me in the same day (so I was thankful for that) - but the vet did not give him a physical examination - she just took him to the back and forced him into position for an X-Ray - I just hear him screaming/crying for a good 10-15 minutes. I later learned that X-Rays are practically useless for this condition - you need a CT Scan or MRI to actually see what's going on - so all the trauma/pain was pointless. I brought him back in the next week because his condition had plummeted and he was no longer walking, and this time I saw the other vet. He scoffed at me when I mentioned I wanted to hear all options because I wasn't sure if I could afford an expensive surgery. I took the referral and called them for an appointment. This other placed called me back the day before my appointment and told me my vet had referred me to the wrong hospital, and they didn't have the tools/personnel for IVDD surgery. Time wasted, and now we have to wait even longer until we can get into the correct facility. They also couldn't fill his prescriptions fully, not a huge deal but adds to the list. I called to cancel my follow-up appointment because I didn't want to go back to this place, and it turns out they had already cancelled it without telling me. I'm sure lots of people's experience with this place is fine, but if your pet is having a more serious issue, or you want them in good hands if/when they have a serious issue, take them somewhere else. This edit due to their response: They did not give him "strong painkillers" prior to the X-Rays. They offered to give him a shot of an opioid AFTER all the X-Rays had already been done. He DID scoff at me, and made a rude comment along the lines of "if you can't afford a few thousand dollars...". The surgery is more than "a few thousand dollars". Yes, it was 2 days that I waited, because they close at 1 PM on Saturday and he worsened Saturday afternoon, AND they are not open on Sunday. I called at open Monday morning. "It was the correct facility, they may not have the equipment but they get it done on site" - WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN?? And why did they send me elsewhere then? And why did they say they didn't have the correct personnel for it? When I called to cancel the follow-up appointment the person on the phone told me it was already removed and that there was nothing to cancel. The owner is lying and not willing to own up to anything. Avoid this place.

Easy to make appointments, doctors are compassionate and knowledgeable. They were able to get my dog started on her medicine after her first visit. Also have separate waiting rooms for dogs and cats. Additionally, the way they schedule results in having almost no other animals in the waiting room with you.

Dr. K is so knowledgeable it gives us confidence in decisions we make for our cats. No other vet we have seen has made us feel that way. The staff is so understanding and caring. They have been amazing getting us through a difficult time with a serious illness we didn't think our cat would live through. I can't recommend them enough.

We just returned To Rancho Sequoia. We have been happy customers since they opened. When I called yesterday, I was delighted how kind, professional and friendly everyone was. They got our 7 year old Ragdoll Polly Lou in the same day, and everything went very smoothly. We feel so comfortable having a wonder vet again, and will definitely spread the word.

I was in such a panic that I called the wrong vet when the dog got a fox tail in her ear, and they where so patient with me! They got her in about an hour after I called and looked at her ear. Since she had really gotten it stuck in there they would have to sedate her and since she had eaten we had to wait until the following Monday (closed for the weekend). They gave us drops for her ear which was a huge help, and we were booked first thing Monday morning. They sedated her, removed the fox tail and once she was awake we could come and pick her up if we wanted. She was still seeing flying squirrels everywhere but she was fully back to normal within an hour after getting home. They called us a couple of weeks later to set up a fast follow up appointment, which took maybe 15 minutes. Oh and the price was great! Really on the low end of what we had expected. Thank you so much!
