Accurate, reliable, and professional! I found this shop through the recommendation of someone I didn’t even know and I am so grateful that I did. My car a Nissan Murano, was making a very loud and alarming noise that no one had been able to diagnose, not even at the Boulder Nissan. This shop found the cause of the noise, fixed it, and actually saved our life! Some part near the shocks I don’t remember the name- had broken and had we driven the car just a bit more it would have tumbled! They called me to get approval and immediately ordered the part and changed it. One day later the car was fixed. Clarence, at the front desk, is super nice and professional and explained everything that was required, the cost, etc. with absolute clarity. Their work was exact, completely accurate, and within the scheduled time. If you are in need of a good shop to take care of your vehicle, I highly recommend this place!

Avon Auto & Truck worked on my 2010 Subaru Forester. The head gasket was leaking and the front suspension was feeling a little bit off. I took it to them with these concerns and was back on the road within a couple of weeks. I thought the work was done in good time considering the amount of work required. Everything that was done we talked about and made sure it made sense. I would recommend them for any preventative maintenance or repairs.

The entire team at Avon Auto & Truck have consistently provided excellent customer service across a number of different auto related needs for my Audi. Everything from new tires, tire rotation, oil changes, and other non-dealer required services have been performed exactly as discussed and committed. Their pricing also seems to be in-line with all of the other Vail Valley Auto/Truck Service businesses. Definitely recommend this company.

While on vacation from Wisconsin visiting our son in Edwards we had an unidentified fluid begin show up under our vehicle. Our insurance towing coverage had us towed to one of their recommended shops that turned out to have closed the previous year. The tow truck driver suggested trying Avon Auto and Truck as we had just passed it on the way. The lot was full as was every service bay, and we feared we might be delayed a week as other shops called in our search for help indicated. We got a call from Avon later in the day that they got our vehicle in a bay and had a diagnosis, parts could be in the following day. They had do some extra searching to find the parts from a vendor that could deliver the following morning and for less cost than initial inquiries. The repair was initially done ahead of schedule, but Avon made sure codes were clear. This caused a delay. We had to return a couple of times as the engine light would come on and stalling occurred. It turned out that the leak was antifreeze. It was slow when we noticed it in a parking lot, nothing visible from the top of the engine, fluid levels all checked ok, but not knowing what the cause was and we had a long trip ahead we had called for towing from our insurance. At some point between noticing the leak, getting on and off the flatbed wrecker, and getting into a service bay, the culprit part in the cooling system broke completely and drenched the engine compartment with antifreeze. Apparently antifreeze had dampened numerous electrical connections causing voltage issues with several computer functions. Though very busy, Avon made room to diagnose and correct to get us on our way ASAP, and did not charge extra for the extra time and service. They messaged us as we made our way home to make sure all was ok, which it was. If I lived in the area, Avon Auto & Truck would be where I would go if my vehicle needed service. They are kind, competent, and have integrity.

Took my car here a couple of days ago. They were fast and efficient. Clarance knew exactly what to do and took care of what I asked them to and didn't try to sell me on a lot of unnecessary repairs. The follow up was excellent and service was taken care of the same day. I've mistakenly tried other places in the valley and regret not going to Avon Auto first. They were so helpful!! I had a car full of 4 kids and my car stopped on i70. I pulled over and they fixed my car while I took the kids to brunch next door. They fixed my air filter, Land Rover LR3 air sensors, filled up all my fluids and were so kind to our crazy bunch

I am happy I was asked how the business did, through email because I would’ve forgotten to warn others before going here! I was originally quoted from the website $130 in additional fees to have the tires installed I called to make an appointment for other services at which I was told it’s walk in basis only and confirmed the amount it was to install 4 tires- and went with the recommended installer Avon truck and tire, turns out to just install 4 tires (2 of which I took home with me) $181!!! When asked at checkout the reason it was stated due to ordering tires not from in shop. Then some manager reached out via text asking my experience in which I told him what happened above, also was informed that my tire rod was shot and dangerous to drive in which they saw I was driving 3 small children but at 2 and the shop closing at 530 they didn’t have the time to fix this for me on top of it all the manager who reached out over text was full of excuses, no apology not even once and even emailed him the email where my quote was set in stone for installation. It was by far the worst experience I’ve ever encountered and I’ve had some shady ones. Buyers beware of purchasing from tire rack or Avon auto and truck in Colorado! Service: Tires

After being told by several valley service centers that there would be a 1-2 week wait, Avon Auto and Truck took me in the next morning, performed the service in a timely and cost effective manner and invited me to return the next week just to make sure everything was still running efficiently. We had to leave a review for this place because these gentleman really saved the day. My wife and I drove from Las Vegas to Avon Colorado for our anniversary vacation. About halfway to our destination we heard a grinding sound coming from our engine compartment. We were unsure if the vehicle was going to get us to our destination safely. Approximately 3/4 of the way to our destination our check engine light came on but we still kept traveling. Fortunately we safely arrived in Avon and checked into our resort. We began to call around the very next day hoping to find someone who might be able to fix our 2010 Range Rover HSE. The closest Land Rover Service center was located in Denver about an hour and a half away. There was also another service center about an hour the opposite direction. We took a chance and called Avon auto and truck and spoke to Clarence. These guys inspected our vehicle at no charge and fixed our car for an extremely reasonable price. We wanted to take the time to thank these guys by writing a review to show our appreciation. They even went the extra mile literally. When the part we needed was not local, they sent their own driver to pick the part up in Denver from the Land Rover dealership to expedite our repair. Finally as we were leaving, the technician named Vlad came out to personally talk to us about our repair. He was very knowledgeable and also very friendly.
