We brought our 2011 Volvo XC90 here on a fluke, as "Import Auto" had been recommended by a coworker. I later found out that they were recommending a different Import Auto shop in town, whereas I found these guys because they were the first ones to come up in a search under "Import Auto." I decided to stick with them even after realizing this, because we have had very bad luck with this car, and the other shop I have brought it to tends to be very short and dismissive on the phone, barely allowing one to speak whatsoever; and I needed a full assessment and a more in-depth discussion about this vehicle. Calvin was great about that from the very getgo. The techs had two very in-depth projects during this visit: replace a fuel pump, which requires removing the back seat, carpeting, and fuel tank (!); and a serpentine belt & tensioners, which is its own animal on these cars. I get the idea that these guys love what they do, and they love working with people. They helped me decide to continue on with this family car, as there is now not much else that 'should' go wrong with it, given the history that I was allowed to discuss. They are fans of this type of vehicle, and that is what I need - not someone who rushes me off the phone, as I try to respect one's time! After their work, the car stopped throwing the check-engine code for catalytic convertors, which is quite relieving! That's a project that runs up to $6000! I recommend A & B, and plan to return to them with this car, albeit hopefully a very, very long time from now. Services: Auto engine diagnostic, General repairs & maintenance

I had an amazing mechanic in Fort Collins. I bought an Audi, and he doesn't like to service them. I did some searching and went with A and B from their reviews. I needed an exhaust leak looked at. They beyond exceeded my expectations. They gave me an incredibly thorough vehicle inspection. As well as, a detailed explanation of immediate repairs needed vs. ones that could wait. I have a hard time trusting mechanics, but this company is extremely professional and take pride in their work. I will continue to bring my Audi here from now on. As a young woman and as somebody who doesn’t know much about cars, I’m usually a little wary when dropping my car off at a shop for repairs I know very little about. In the past I’ve had shops talk down to me at best, and try to take advantage of my ignorance at worst. Ben and Calvin took the time to go through their report throughly and help me understand what was best for my Mercedes (alignment after some suspension work) and why. A and B did a great job of tracking down an unknown issue on my Volkswagen. My usual mechanics were stumped as to what was causing my vw to run so poorly and it only took the folks at A and B a few hours to find the issue and fix it! Reasonable prices for the repairs and a honest and upfront business attitude which is very rare and hard to find in the car world. So grateful to these folks and would recommend them to anyone! Mark and his team have been servicing our family vehicles, both foreign and domestic for nearly 18 years. Not only have they done a great job on our modern vehicles, but have also been able to work on our classic 60's muscle cars when we've been in a pinch. There is a reason A&B has been in business so long. Everything their website says is true. They know what they are doing, they are priced fairly and always check with the customer if there are budget concerns. The only shop I've ever tried that talked me OUT of getting something done, saying "there's no reason you need to spend the money getting this done right now." Extremely friendly folks and the work is always done right the first time. I never take my car anywhere else. Highly recommended. They sounded very nice, educated, and answered pretty much all of my questions I had regarding a warranty part (from purchased warranty from a dealership) replacement quote; however, they never called me back...I ended up replacing it myself and calling a lose.

I brought my VW in for diagnostics/repair after doing some research on shops around town. They are definitely busy, so if it's an emergency I'd recommend calling them directly! It took about a week and a half for them to diagnose and fix the car, but Mark was very communicative and I honestly couldn't be happier! My Eos is back to running like a champ, and while it wasn't cheap (but when you have a German car, you know repairs are never cheap) the labor was very reasonable.
