Everything here was cute, soft and irresistible, but very overpriced. We were lucky enough to find Alpaca World during its last three day sale so somethings were around $10-$20 off (Anything $39 or $49 would now be $29), but everything was still a little pricy for a stereotypical sale. The staff working at alpaca world were very kind and helpful by answering any questions we had. But the owner however was very pushy, made it seem like we had to buy his items and biased. My brother left the store with his item and stated how he didn’t really want to buy the lion. He just wanted to buy it to make the seller happy, which is pretty sad how these types of things can influence young children very quickly. The first time we came to his shop, he offered the customers buying the expensive items some cookies and water. However my brother and I were only mainly interested in the stuffed animals (one of the cheaper items) and didn’t receive any special treatment. That day we were in a rush and were not able to buy anything with the amount of time we had so we left the store with plans to return tomorrow. The next day when we returned, we chose our two items that my brother and I wanted for our bedrooms decor. My brother decided to get a $49 stuffed Lion. My father however didn’t like the idea of spending $50 on this alpaca toy and asked my brother to pick a different item. The owner of the store offered to “charge him less” and give him a sale that was already introduced to us the day before just so that my brother could buy the lion. Again the “anything $39 or $49 would now be $29” sale. After we checked out one small white alpaca for $29 (originally $39) and one small lion for $29 (originally $49) we ended up spending $62 and walked out of the store hearing the owner telling his co-worker how unbelievable it was to not want to spend $49 for your child everyday. Overall we were happy with our alpacas and received the free keychain that every customer got when purchasing. The owners children are great people for skipping birthday party’s and doing fundraisers just to afford these alpacas. The next time Alpaca World comes back to Colorado, we might come back and visit. If you have some extra birthday money you might want to spend, I’d definitely recommend.

My friend and I happened to walk into this store on a whim (and because I love Alpacas tbh) with zero expectations. I ended up leaving with a blanket and free gift after a delightful conversation with the owner, Jay. He is clearly knowledgeable and super fun to talk to which makes sense when you see the vibe of the store. Even if you aren’t looking for anything specific, you truly need to go check this place out! Anytime I’m back in Denver and it is open I’ll be sure to make a visit in :)

Such an amazing place! My sister brought me there and the owners recognized her and treated us like family! I had the best time feeling all of the incredibly soft clothing, blankets, and small alpaca dolls. I’ve only been once but it’s already my favorite store! I wish it wasn’t a seasonal shop or else I’d be in pretty much every week for the rest of the year. The items are very reasonably priced considering all of the love and attention that goes into each beautiful piece. I will definitely recommend this shop to everyone, it’s amazing!!!
