Honestly this has got to be one of the most useless banks on the planet. For years I've thought it quite comical how often the drive-up ATMs were broken, out of service or just simply couldn't perform simple tasks. I started keeping track for the hell of it and found that ~60% of the time they're not fully functional — even after replacing the old ones with newer models (glad to see our fees being used so appropriately).
Chase as a whole is pretty nefarious too, it still rearranges transactions in order to maximize overdraft fees for the company. That practice has been illegal for years and has even been successfully prosecuted with other banks who do the same thing. When confronted with this the employees claim to have no knowledge of it (they probably don't, it protects the higher ups) and give a half-baked runaround that's obviously straight from some employee handbook.
It's way past time for everyone to drop out and head to a local credit union. ~Brian
