Chase Bank

Honestly this has got to be one of the most useless banks on the planet. For years I've thought it quite comical how often the drive-up ATMs were broken, out of service or just simply couldn't perform simple tasks. I started keeping track for the hell of it and found that ~60% of the time they're not fully functional — even after replacing the old ones with newer models (glad to see our fees being used so appropriately). Chase as a whole is pretty nefarious too, it still rearranges transactions in order to maximize overdraft fees for the company. That practice has been illegal for years and has even been successfully prosecuted with other banks who do the same thing. When confronted with this the employees claim to have no knowledge of it (they probably don't, it protects the higher ups) and give a half-baked runaround that's obviously straight from some employee handbook. It's way past time for everyone to drop out and head to a local credit union. ~Brian

Bank of the West

Lisa and her staff are so personable, they provide service with a smile. Great attitudes.!! Unlike some other banks where the tellers will get to you after I finish this text message. I’ve been going to this location for approximately 6-8 months and everyone greets you when you walk through the doors. Thank you and keep up the great work. ~Art

Wells Fargo Bank

They don't take walk-ins to open or close an account. You have to schedule an appointment online. Why do I do business with Wells Fargo? Could you imagine being a brand new customer? They must be completely clueless as to how to attract and retain customers. Update: I tried scheduling an appointment as I am an existing customer. I tried to do it over the phone...twice...both times I was transferred and the phone went silent and they hung up. I then tried from my account on Google Chrome...no luck, then Microsoft Edge...no luck. Each time it goes to the page and just "spins". Finally I could schedule an appointment from the app. What a terrible company to do business with...lots of banks want your business, go elsewhere! ~Greg

Citywide Banks

Thought this was going to be a great start just moved to colorado wanted a new bank everyone was really nice and welcoming. They don't give you your debit card like most banks do when you start with them they mail them okay. Been 2 weeks and still didn't get them called them mutiplie times were not helpful made me think I was impatient. Instead of reality not taking that long they said 5-9 business days. Well wouldn't recommend anyone banking here I no longer will. ~Jane

Bank of the West

I hate this bank. We mobile deposited a pretty large check, the funds were made available to us the following day, two days after that the bank removed the funds from the account due to a signature "issue". Once we had the funds in our account we assumed check cleared and shredded check. We offered to come into the branch with id's to verify signatures but Bank of the West, being the lazy folks they are just said sorry, try and get another check. We have to wait for check issuer to send us a form to fill out, pay a fee to void the destroyed check and wait 10 business days to make sure Bank of the West doesn't clear the check still. At that point the check will be reissued within 30-60 days. Lesson learned on our end is to not bank with Bank of the West anymore and also wait a few weeks before shredding a mobile deposit even if funds are available and cleared. ~Chris
