Always have what I need, staff is courteous and super helpful 👌 👍 😊. And, I Got everything I needed in 1/2 the time.. Why go to a big box store and wander around, lost; looking for advice from clueless employees. Page's is worth the trip. Nice people, great advice, comparable (or better) pricing, less wasted time and no headaches. Let's keep these local hardware stores going so that quality and service don't die. Kudos to the staff at Page's!

Recently I went to Page's in search of a disc clock battery. I didn't have the original battery to guide me. A medium height worker with a mustache took on the project of finding the correct battery. After some measuring and guessing, he selected a battery and popped it in. It worked This may sound insignificant but it shows the character and skill of the people who work at Page's. I had visited 6 other stores without success as no one would take the time if I didn't have the battery number. Thank you Ric Brittain

It is not a real hardware store unless it has creaky wooden floors! Every employee I encountered was friendly and helpful. I can't say enough about this store, the inventory is incredible. Like a brick and mortar Amazon with real live help. I will definitely be back and I live all the way in Newington. Not just a hardware store, lots of appliances too. Lots of free parking

Ran in for a quick fix for my home and let me just say..It was a breath of fresh air. It reminded me of when I was a child going into a mom/pop hardware store with my father. Your greated with a smile, someone actually willing to assist you, friendly conversation, and most of all, knowledgeable. This world is all about big chain, but I prefer the more intimate, small business type of places, where your appreciated for choosing to spend your money with them. So thank you for reminding me of how try wonderful it was to grow up when I did. When a customer was a name, not transaction. Highly recommend you give them a try, before you run into big box and get lost for 2 days, while you try and find someone assist you and than help you find your way to the exit. Price are comprable, and even if you have to pay a penny more..TRUST IT'S WORTH IT:)

We love Page's! The most expensive dog treat in town... My boy knows he'll get a biscuit at the front door, and the back door, so anytime I need something I can get at Page's, we go in so he can get his treats and lovin' and pick out new paint colors. So many everyday items I could just order from Amazon or HomeDepot, but I love visiting my local store for daily needs, and special projects. Someone is always there to help.

Needed a new clothes washer, looked around, settled here and very pleased we did. The sales help was knowledgeable, the transaction quick, the delivery men (who drove a Page truck and wore Page name tags, that is to say, not a subcontracted crew) were professional and efficient. Nothing but good as far as we are concerned.

We just moved to the area, and purchased some of our appliances through page. Out of all the hardware and appliance stores I've dealt with in my life, Page Hardware has to the the best. Their sales team was not pushy at all, and helped us with any questions we had. The installation team was courteous and knowledgeable. Overall, they're customer support is beyond amazing. I cannot recommend page hardware enough. If you're in the area, and you're appliance shopping, I'd strongly suggest you avoid the big box stores and use Page. You will not regret it.

If I could give more stars I would! Page Hardware is a Guilford treasure! Not only do they always have exactly what you need but they have an abundance of knowledgeable staff who are always happy to help. In my opinion the best part of Pages is their top notch appliance department. Jim Blair and his knowledgeable colleagues go above and beyond and are extremely knowledgeable in any appliance question you may have. Most appliance salesman are so quick to sell you something without looking at your true need. Pages is the furthest from that! If you need an appliance I highly recommend Jim Blair and staff! You won’t be disappointed!

My wife and I recently stopped by Page Appliance with the intent of purchasing a new refrigerator. Our refrigerator has been freezing items in the refrigerator section for some time, even after we turned the temperature down. My wife was concerned that with the long lead times for some refrigerators, ours would die and we would be forced to buy something. We have done business with Page Appliance for some time and the salesman we work with is Michael Brooks. We told Michael what was going on with our refrigerator. He asked a few questions about the operation of the refrigerator and did something out of the ordinary, he said before I sell you a new refrigerator, go home and do a complete defrost, by unplugging the unit. He thought that since we had the refrigerator for 14 years and we could not remember the last time we had done one, he felt there was ice build up in the duct system from the freezer to the refrigerator. We did this on Monday for 12 hours, cleaned out the defrost pan, that was full and plugged it back. I am happy to say that the refrigerator is working like new . A simple process saved us thousands of dollars, because our salesman shared some of his knowledge. Thanks Michael. We did

IF YOU WORKED FOR A STORE THAT SOLD A PRODUCT LIKE THIS, COULD YOU SLEEP AT NIGHT? About seven years ago I paid about $1,000 for a Weber Genesis stainless steel grill. It worked well, and I took good care of it. I bought a special cover to protect it from the weather. The outside always looked great, and I didn't pay much attention to the inside. Then I started looking carefully. What I realized was that the outside was made of stainless steel, but the inside was made of cheap metal that would rust and fall apart – regardless of how much protection it was given. I was astounded. I spoke with a staff member at Page Hardware -- I worked my way up three levels in the chain of command. He told me that there was nothing they could do. I would need to take it up with Weber, and he offered no help or guidance on how to do that. I was on my own. Page Hardware gets a number of five-star reviews. People like their friendly staff, and their cute products. But I asked myself: "If I worked for a store that sold a product like this and then failed to stand behind it, could I sleep at night?" The answer was, "No." So I decided to post this review to warn others. If you're looking for a cute tea towel and like the hometown feel of the store, then this is the place for you. But if you're considering buying an expensive product -- and you're relying on them to stand behind it -- you need to ask yourself a question: DO I FEEL LUCKY? Because if you're not lucky, you'll be on your own.
