In search for a watermelon. Literally got the last one. Looked fine but was spoiled. Not worth the price of gas to go back to Naugatuck. Just annoying

Very expressive to shop there, only do it if I really need to !!!!!! I've compared prices w/Walmart and some are the same but Walmart does have things that are cheaper and just as good for quality !!! Prices are even higher, technically not their fault. They do have some specials that are helpful.

I'm used to the prices in Florida, just visiting. But quality of produce was great for a super market. Shelves are well stocked. Only a few regular registers open. But plenty of self checkouts, small glitch with system but overall good experience.

I have been a loyal customer for 17 years. Love the store and the people but... The digital coupons are infuriating. I don't like computers. This will force me to market 32,or the big y. Market 32 has better produce. Listen to your customers or lose us!

There are two grocery stores here in town for groceries BigY and stop and shop and hands down I always shop at stop and shop the prices are reasonable they offer reduced produce and other varies items and they rarely discontinue grocery items BigY on the other hand are very expensive don't offer much for reduced items and I find they are constantly discontinuing grocery items along with not offering certain name brand items

I’m giving the employees five stars because they’re always helpful, courteous, and conscientious. As for the store, I love the atmosphere, selection and freshness of the food. However, some of the products are way over priced. Also, there have been only a couple of times that I’ve purchased a few items that were past the expiration date. With that being said, the employees always work hard to make sure all the products are up to date, fresh and appealing. The main reason for my five star review, is because stop and shop seems to improve day after day. I appreciate the attentiveness and the efforts of the store employees and their management for working so hard to satisfy the customers. I do wish some of the food items were less expensive.

11-6-21 Am I the only one that hates the new self checkout? Who's the executive that came up with the idea to make self checkout difficult to use? Keeps telling me to move the item to the table? I have to bag each item as I scan it? Keeps coming up with an error and a girl standing by has to come over and swipe her card? What a pain in the azz!! If this is such a great idea, make every lane like this. The decision maker on this one should be fired.

New checkout....scan something, wait for associate to come and scan their badge because the thing went on hold. Scan the next item, wait for associate. My whole order is like this. What good is self checkout if you need several employees standing there all day long due to malfunctions? And that annoying "move your item to the table" for every thing I scan? Come on.

They have good selection of produce but they seem to over price things because they're the only game in town for many of these residents, They;d have to drive a bit to get to the next grocery store. Their prices are about 20% more than where I shop in NY, Shoprite and Walmart.

Stop and shop is always a great place to go when you need anything food related. They will take care of you in a respectful manner and conduct their store in such a way that everyone feels welcome. Come on in, have lunch, spend some money and eat in their cafe section. Free miney in the coinstar sometimes.
