Previously worked at this subway on Universal Avenue. Was continually treated with disrespect with use of racial slurs. In such a nice town would never expect this to occur. Manager also has hired his daughter and his daughters boyfriend which seems to me as a conflict of interest. Either way would not recommend any young individuals looking for work to seek employment here

As I was ordering my food I heard the person who preparing my food try and whisper to his co worker that my sandwich is going to give me the “runs.” He said this twice and I find it to be a disgusting thought and one I definitely do not want to have when i am about to eat my food.

Ordered black forest and turkey foot long. The taste was lacking in flavor. Staff was very friendly. Wait was not too bad for lunch hours.

For the second time in the past they have been closed earlier than the normal hours. Last time, they closed at 6 pm and the worker totally ignored us. Today, 6:45. Both workers are there and they just stared at us, telling us no there are closed. This is very frustrating and very unprofessional. Closing hours say 9pm, not 6pm in the afternoon.

This is my go-to subway in north haven. Near where I work, off sackett point, there's 2 within range to run to on lunch break. This one on universal, and another on Washington. Even though they all use the same pre-made ingredients, their tuna always tastes better to me. So I recently started using online ordering. But I've had some issues. First, when I order my chopped salad, I came to pick it up and it wasn't chopped... twice! Another time, it didn't have all the stuff on I asked for. So I resolved to ordering sandwich a couple times after that. Last week I ordered online, when I got there they were packed. They never got to make my order. Didn't have time to even greet me at the register. So I got in line, told them I was the online order and to just refund me. The lady, Jennifer, was extremely apologetic, refunded me, gave me free soda, told me next salad is on the house. I completely understood they got busy. It's hard to make a meal for someone not in the store, when you've got a line of real people in front of you. And to be honest, I've never seen it THAT busy b4, and I think they were short staffed, so I felt for them! They're nice ladies. But for that and the other problems I had with online ordering, I can't give full stars. **had to downgrade them. Just more and more problems. I ordered online for a tuna wrap. Used my points and only had to pay like less than $3. I get to store only to find out they didn't make my order because, again, they were out of tuna. So i wound up just getting something else. Asked if they can cancel my order b/c A.) I want my money back and B.) I want my points back ...to use for THIS new order. Guy told me he can't do that in store i have to do it online! SO i pay $9 for this new order. GO back to work and can't find a direct way to cancel my order. I send an email with all info. 10 mins later my phone rings, an 877 number. I don't pick up. 10 mins after that I get an email from subway, "we tried to call you but no one answered the phone. We need more info for your request, please call us back." I've called them back 3 times since, responded to the email, and RESENT another email request. Nothing. Out of my money and out of my points. BUt that's ok because they can take the points I have and shove it. I will NEVER go to another subway again. And there's been soooo many problems I've encounted with the online ordering, I can never reccommend it to anyone. Especially if there's a mixup and you need your money back --- seems like a fair request. Give me my money back for the food that you never gave me. THIEVES. if it was more than $2 I would still pursue it, but they can keep my $2. it'll be the last money they get from me.

Very tasty food. For a place which is pretty much a fast food resturaunt, they have a very healthy options for foods. They do not only have subs though. They also have the other sandwiches and their pizza. A bit small on the inside but still have bathroom!

Bad food safety practices. You are suppose to change gloves between each customer. And I am pretty sure your not suppose to be touching every surface in site with your gloves on and then continue to make sandwiches with the same disgusting gloves. Learn Servesafe before you make people sick!

Walked in, garbage bag on the floor as soon as i walked in. Bobby was staring at the register screen didnt even bother looking at us until we were halfway out of the store when he decided to ask if we were all set. And theres a 'Under New Management' sign at the door...
