STORE HOURS IS FROM 10AM TO 7 PM. IM CURRENTLY HERE IN THE PARKING LOT, WALKED UP TO THE DOOR A FEW TIMES, AND THE DOOR IS STILL LOCKED. ITS NOW 10:20. THIS IS NOT HOW IT WORKS, IF YOU SAY YOUR OPEN AT 10, THEN OPEN AT TEN. STILL HERE, ITS STILL NOW 10:35. I finally left at 10:50

They have a great selection of shoes, but their prices are kinda high (we miss Payless in the shopping center) and it is difficult to find certain sizes. The shoes are often "tight" and you have to go with a wide width, which is often slim to none in stock, or they just don't carry it. We have had luck in the past with their clearance racks, so always give them a look before you leave. You can often find great deals in the back of the store!

Both Employees looked very unhappy to be working the Famous Footwear in Old Saybrook. Not the happy crew Im usually greeted by. What happened?Only gave a 1 star because I had no choice.

Don't know what's going on here saw lots of shoes from years ago?! My daughter needed heels for prom they had nothing in gold color? Very disappointing. I couldn't find any sandals that were new, different.

Over priced and they always have the same sale buy one get one half off so they jack the prices up so it doesn't matter. DSW is much better

Famous Footwear – Old Saybrook, CT – 8/14/2016 What a great store! Two pairs of sneakers after “Buy one get one ½ off + a 15% off online coupon”… $88.00! Priceless! Super friendly and attentive staff. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. I love this store and will be back for all my sneaker purchases!
