This review is in regard to the rude, domineering “manager” at this store, Sarah. First of all, do not think you can scream out at a vaccinated customer in the middle of the store that they need to be wearing a mask. It is absolutely unprofessional, and frankly may be the start of RH losing customers. Let’s reiterate, yes, vaccinated. Do your job of managing your staff and providing a pleasant experience for the customers. Really disappointed to have to write this, a long time customer that may have to take business elsewhere...

Not a responsible store. In my experience no call answer or respond when customers want to contact the store, especially in an emergency. Also online/web shows store opens and work, actually its not the case. Better off with large chain stores.

Best Hardware Store I have ever been too. I have been going to Ridgefield Hardware since I was 3 with my parents. I still go there now in my 30's. You can not beat the knowledgable staff. They are helpful, direct you to exactly what you are looking for and help you find it when you get to that aisle. Someone is waiting there to assist you. You will never get this service at Lowe's or Home Depot! I try to always shop here. If you have the opportunity to meet the owner you will understand why the store is so fabulous. He is the nicest guy. Everyone has to shop at Ridgefield Hardware.

Ridgefield Hardware is everything great about a local hardware store. It's well stocked, it's easy to find what you need, the staff is crazy helpful, and the free popcorn is yummy. This is the kind of hardware store you can go to just to browse around... which gets dangerous considering how many useful (and fun!) tools they have. I often walk in with a short list and walk out with a long receipt!

Very helpful place if you need something quick in the area and dont feel like going to a big store.... seems like they have everything that you might need from paint to tools and even accessories... home items work items and everything in between. Place is kept clean and well stocked. Staff is helpful but could be a little less chatty at times. Overall great place.

This store reminds me of Dr. Who's Tardis - IT'S MUCH BIGGER IN THE INSIDE! This store has the wonderful look and feel of an old fashioned hardware store - complete with antique wooden flooring. But it's so much more than that! Plenty of helpful and knowledgeable staff; aisles and aisles of products packed to the ceiling and an amazing variety of products for machinery or hands on work. Treat yourself - just go browse!
