I recently just called the Altamonte store location to find out about exchanging a pair of shoes that I had purchased in March before the Covid pandemic. All of the stores started shutting down and it was not safe to be traveling to large locations such as the mall during these times. I have only worn the shoes twice, they hurt my feet extremely bad and caused my toes to become numb. Something was not right about the shoes. I paid $120 for these brand new shoes, which have only been worn twice. They are brand new. The woman I spoke to you was extremely rude and had an attitude, basically telling me that it’s been past the 45 day allowance and they would have to inspect the shoes before allowing me to exchange them. I explained that it’s been past the 45 days because of the Covid pandemic and not feeling safe to travel until now. I think that that’s my right. I will be going to the Sanford champs location instead, which is where I purchased the shoes from originally, they were extremely nice to me and explained they would be happy to exchange the shoes anytime. I don’t know who this woman was working at the Altamonte store at this time, but she needs to learn some customer service skills. I won’t be going to that location ever because of her. I imagine during these uncertain times, any store located at a mall needs all the customers they can get, but a bad attitude from an employee will not help your sales.

The female store manager was very rude, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND DIDN'T WANT TO HELP ME FIND SHOES. DON'T GO THERE AND DEAL HER ATTITUDE.

Devi, Jo and the other representative on shift were amazing! I wasn't pressured. I was consistently checked on. Giving time to think without feeling rushed. I watched them simultaneously work together to ensure each customer was helped in a timely manner. They interacted with customers as if they were good friends; including myself. Today's shopping experience was wonderful. I even left the mall and came back to make sure this location received the sale!

I was in On Monday 3/25 and the customer service was amazing. The people that were working were friendly and really helped a lot. I love this store, they have the best sales and almost never have a problem getting my size.

I used to buy all my shoes from here until recently. I had gotten two pairs of shoes for my birthday in March. My boyfriend lost my receipt but I needed to return $120.00 shoes because they did not fit well once I got home I had tried them on , on my CARPETED floors. I had come to bring them back just to exchange for something else and the manager refused to take them back because they looked worn. I never walked in them besides the store and my carpeted house. Horrible customer service and misjudgment on the workers here.

I was all ready to pay for my shoes and the manager came and asked me for ID so I showed him. Then he said because my card was not signed with a pen on the back he cannot sell me anything in the store. My name is engraved on my card i showed proper ID and he refused to sell me a pair of shoes. I called corporate they have not gotten back to me yet and they will be hearing from my lawyer.signed with a pen .

....at the register ready to pay. I use my B.O.A. credit card and they ask to see my ID. So I give it to her and she says to me "the back of your card doesnt have your signature, we can't accept it". So of course I'm confused because she asked for my ID to match the name. She said if I signed it she could accept it. First of all that's my credit card, my account, my identity...etc. I told her she can't make me sign my card. I asked if it had said SEE ID on it would she accept it, she said "No, I would just ask you to sign your name over it". Are you kidding me??!! I ended up paying with my debit card instead. Horrible. That's a shame, Champs thinks it's ok to force customers to sign their card. What a joke and I'm not shopping their again.

Jose, the manager, helped me when I stopped by to the store this weekend. I'm flat-footed and I was in need of some serious running shoes. He was very eager to help and offered a variety of options. You'd be surprised what a flat-footed runner can't wear. If I didn't particularly like what he had showed me (for aesthetic reasons or fit), he was able to show me other shoes that suited my needs. Jose was knowledgeable and approachable. When I was unsure about my purchase (sooo many choices!), he was very gracious and made me feel comfortable about taking my time. Awesome guy. Great experience.
