I’ve bought a few shoes and clothes from this location and I never had a problem. They were always soooooo nice and helpful. That is until you need to make a return. She didn’t want to return my suit because “hair on it” ??? I wore the shoes once around the house to break them in and get a feel for them and realized they were to big and uncomfortable so I didn’t wear any of them. I had already taken the tags off because I usually never return anything. When I walked into the store the associate assessed my clothes and gave a nice little giggle “haha these are not returnable” I’m still confused on why she thought that was funny or why she thought laughing at a customer is a good idea but that was when everything went downhill. They ended up returning my suit after I asked for the manager. The manager refused to return or exchange my shoes because of marks on the shoe that form when you walk in them. So now I have to go out of my way to ship them to there corporate office to try and get a return or exchange. After this experience I will no longer be shopping at this location or probably any other DXL. If I don’t have the peace of mind that I can return something if it doesn’t fit then I don’t feel comfortable shopping here.

Rita was an amazing salesperson. She walked me through each step of putting together a suit or an occasion that was one day away. She was very patient and explained her reasoning for different combinations. The store is well laid out and the fitting rooms were spacious and locked for item security. I will definitely return for more suits and other clothing.

The store was awesome. The staff was very helpful, they were wonderful helping switch out my catelog returns, and they made great suggestions. I am loving the Robert Graham and Tommy Bahama and Vineyard Vines for larger guys! Bring on more 4XLT's!!

We visited the Brandon store on Sunday April 10. Previously my husband had called and spoken with Rita and established great rapport. We spent less than an hour there due to my husband’s disability, but when we left we felt as though we had been treated supremely well by Rita. She was very pleasant, knowledgeable about store inventory, and treated us kindly. Kudos to her! Rita, you are the best!
