My beautiful Aussiedoodle Maggie entered my life in July of 2015. Joyce updated pictures from two weeks up until the day we picked her up. She was the daughter of Barbara Streisand and Lawrence Olivia. Joyce was very professional and warned me not to spoil her because her mom was very vocal. Of course I spoil her and I adore ALL of her vocalizations. She is sweet, playful, funny, vocal and incredibly smart knowing over 20 toys by name. Sometimes she likes to ignore me when I ask her for a particular toy and then when I am not paying attention she will drop said toy at my feet. She is very healthy and has beautiful teeth and gums. The only issue we have had are some ear infections which can occur with the poodle lineage. I absolutely adore Maggie and her breed and would highly recommend Pecan Place for their forever dog!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Joyce is a fantastic breeder. She is definitely a no BS type of lady but it is clear that she genuinely cares about her dogs and the puppies she is raising. Our little gal was so well adjusted when we got her. She wasn't afraid of people, kids, lightning, other dogs and even fireworks (we got her just before the 4th of July). She has even slept through the whole night in her crate without waking us up since the first night (although I think we were pretty lucky for this one). Everybody has been complimenting us on what a well behaved and gorgeous little puppy we have. Buddy the son of Patrick Swayze and Jamie Lee Curtis came home to his forever home on 3-1-21.Thank You very much PECAN PLACE for making this a wonderful experience. Everything about the process was perfect. Linsey Mays was over the Top. She provided significant information about the process and about the puppies and recommendations on how to prepare for the puppy coming home. Frequent pictures, e-mails and even two videos made the wait bearable. Buddy was well prepared for the the transition from kennel to our home. Practically house broken, he has not had a accident since he came home.. We are crate training him and he now knows where he will sleep. He has slept the last 3 nights all night and the first 3 nights only woke up once. I laid outside the cage for several minutes, and he went back to sleep till morning. Buddy is very loveable, again thanks to Lindsey's care and that of her immediate family. To see all the puppies interacting with Lindsey on the videos was clear proof of her personal involvement with their development. On pick up day everything was perfect. We had a bonus. Lindsey's two year daughter joined us and to see her interaction with the puppies (5 of them) was a clear indication of how well the puppy will interact with others. Buddy is perfect, he loves to meet and great, especially us! Her daughter shed some tears because Buddy was leaving, true love. We sincerely recommend PECAN PLACE as the perfect place for anyone looking for a forever family member. Lindsey will always be Buddy's first human Mommy! and a family friend. My sweet Fergie was born Jan. 2015, just before my right hip replacement. I got her home and she was a pistol! She was so loving though and I had my surgery and recovered with her as a puppy, and don't regret a day of it! She's the best dog ever and I took her to puppy class a little later and she was the smartest dog in the world! You're such a fabulous breeder and I love her! I'm always telling friends about you and your puppies!

Picked up a puppy from Mia and Ken's litter the day before Mothers Day. This little guy has been such and blessing to our family. The best temperament I have ever seen in a dog. Prior to picking up our puppy, Pecan Place answered every email and question that we had and were very professional. We have told everyone about this breeder and I believe we will be back for a second puppy withing the year.

-10 Star...BUYER BEWARE! Nothing more than a puppy mill! I bought a puppy from Joyce 10 years ago. She arrived with kennel cough & had every PARISITE known to dogs. Her tail was docked so close that it has caused a life time of health problems & an operation last year. I wonder what she used to dock her tail as a vet would never cut it that close to the body! She has scar tissue in her lungs from the severe kennel cough & has had breething problems all her life. I haven't added all the vet bills over the years but it is in the thousands! Her 2 year health guarantee is BS, she refused to honor it. I contacted her before the 2 years was up & she said, "it's too late", even though I sent her copies of the vet bills. Don't be fooled by her slick website, this is a puppy mill! I certainly DID CONTACT you! I had our puppy to the vet the next day we brought her home, I sent you copies of the the vet bills showing the state our poor pup was in. You replied, " I never should have sent you a sick puppy. Kennel cough rears its ugly head now & then." I have kept all the vet bills from day one.

Joyce is very straightforward about everything. She was extremely helpful on welcoming and bringing my puppy home. My puppy is now 7 months and she is perfect in everyway. I will be going back again as her pups are the best.

I have two of the most wonderful dogs from Joyce. That she is rude, I don't get, she is always welcoming and very sweet. Maybe just because she doesn't run her place as a stop by and play like Petland, you disliked her. But make no mistake, you will get a healthy, well rounded pup that you will love. Get to know the breeder instead of calling her rude. She protects the pups, moms and sires.

We have had a wonderful experience with Joyce and their Pecan Place puppy. Our puppy is the best pup we have ever had....we have had 20 dogs...Buddy was basically housebroken at 8 weeks, he slept through the night from the beginning and is a well rounded pup. I believe it was the strong foundation and parental lineage that sent him off on the right path. We are stopped by strangers constantly because our puppy is so handsome and so comfortable with everyone. Highly recommend this kennel.
