Absolutely the worst place to have your car serviced in the area. Technician, whose wife has a baby she runs around barefoot with in the automotive center, breast feeding and tending to during the husband's entire work shift, managed to destroy a new tire while attempting to install it. That left us with a spare while another one was ordered. Then the issue arose with the inability for their technician to put the wheel sensor back on the new tire/wheel. In attempting to figure out how, the tech managed to drain our car battery, then literally pushed our car out into a parking spot and advised we take it to the dealership to get the sensor back in place and also get a new battery or possibly even a new alternator. All the while, absolutely nothing was wrong with the battery or alternator, confirmed by the hassle of taking it to the dealership. The problem was only the tech's incompetency. My family and I are here on vacation. Found yesterday (Wednesday) that we'd picked up a screw somewhere along the way, and we're only here through Friday. Called virtually everyone in the area, explained our situation, and was told no one could patch the tire same day. Obviously, not their problem, but this is our only vehicle, and it seems a bit ridiculous to have to leave our car for a day+ and rent another vehicle just for a simple tire patch. I'd basically given up, then my wife said to try Walmart in Destin. I spoke with Lagreta, and she asked how soon I could get there. Upon arrival, I spoke with Lagreta and Tristyn. Lagreta explained to him she'd spoken to me on the phone and that they'd help me out. I had to hang out for a little while, bought a few things, visited the Subway, and then was out of there. My ticket says Ileana wrote it up and Benjamin W. was my tire tech, so huge thanks to them, too. Explained to Lagreta while I was there how thankful I was for their help. First, they discriminate against customers with minor issues, putting new installs ahead of them. I arrived 15 min before they opened (7:45am), waited in a line of cars for an hour to be checked in. After noon, I checked on my vehicle. The guy said it was coming up next, but the other attendant interjected, saying she just got a new appointment for a new install that would be first. I asked, "so even though I got here at 7:45am for a minor nail in my tire, it's not first-come-first-serve?". They said nope. They did get my car done an hour later, however, but they left it running off the battery. It drained the battery too low to crank. Fortunately, they did help jump the vehicle, but that shouldn't have happened. Last, I have nice metal tire valve caps, but they threw one away and replaced it with a cheap plastic one. Really?

after disappointment from about year ago, decided they might have improved and superiors would correct ignorance, careless people and attitude, but came to find out it got even worse. Dropped wheels and tires to be replaced, been told wait is 3-4 hrs. i was understanding and said i could pick up next day. next day came no call all day, about the end of their work day decided to call and find out what is going on? Nobody bothered to answer the phone, so I had to risk it to waste time and be surprised that the job is not done, but got no choice. Fortunately the job was done, it was just so hard to pick up the phone and make the call. Regretting my decision to bring my business there. Had a flat right at Destin Wal-Mart and had it towed to the tire center. It sat there for 2 1/2 days before they put on 4 new tires that I ordered and had delivered within 24 hrs. They did explain they were shorthanded on desk help and mechanics. I do know they were doing alot of drive in new business while my truck had not been touched since it got towed there. The shortages of dependable employees is palpable, and painful.

Mellissa was great! Called to see if they could fix a tire with a nail, they didn't have any appointments but Mellissa said to bring it in. We needed shopping anyway. Tire was fixed in less than a hour. Great experience, Thank you! Service: Tires

Staff is nice enough, they answered my questions quickly and politely. But the services and hours listed on the website do not match what is offered at this location. Website 7am open time listed, actual open 8 am. Needed some lug nuts replaced, $2 on the website, not offered at this location.

SCAM in place. Beware of those people, they will try to SCAM you. Went to shop and decided it will be convenient to leave my car for battery replacement and new tires. I went and checked what battery I need on their device and picked one dated 02/21 orange sticker !!! Brought it to the register and created the ticket for tires and battery replacement with cashier. Left keys and went shopping around 13:15. Done shopping around 14:20 and went back to auto center. They just started working on the car. That is fine, probably busy.Took the guy 1h 30 min to replace battery, so I went to check why?! The guy there tells me its his 1st time, then I see its not the battery I picked, it was actually 7 months older battery with date 7/20 purple sticker !!! No wonder car won`t start when you trying to install old return battery that`s been sitting on the shelf for 7 months. And I was back home at 16:00. Keep in mind I live 15 min away from Walmart. I am attaching pictures with the ticket number and bar code to back up the story.

So I was very torn on the rating. We appreciated the speed of the service of having 4 new tires on and a light bulb replaced. The melissa was a pleasure to deal with getting the initial quote, however the woman that answered the phone when we called to check on the status of the car was very short and seemed like we annoyed her. She even hung up on us before we could even say thank you for your time. Again the work and speed was appreciated, just wish we could've only dealt with Melissa.
