This is wild- They come to deliver a pallet to my business, driver tries to operate the liftgate, it doesn't work, no prob, he says I'll run back to the terminal and get it fixed and be right back. Driver is back an hour later, another business owner who owns a forklift was nearby and offered to grab the pallet, he does so and in 5 mins the driver is on his way. Saia then bills me for an extra hour of time! Unreal!

I have worked in shipping and receiving for 12 years and this is the worst freight company around and today I physically had a saia employee grab my arm. What kinda of freight company can they really be when they allow there drivers to physically put hands on there customers, also this does not get one star the only reason it’s one is I couldn’t comment otherwise I leave this freight company with 0 stars try yrc or averitt express both excellent

Absolute worst shipping company. Don't ship anything through this company. They lost my $12000 transmission for weeks then broke it. The cost for the case was $1400 dollars. They offered me $19 dollars after dragging their feet for 3 months. Absolute worst experience with this company. Not only did I have to lease another truck for my business i then had to pay for their screw up. I ship a lot of parts and this is by far the worst company to deal with.

SAIA tries for on time deliveries often! Their phone support is like trying to contact the USPS! Once I finally got through, the customer service rep was very helpful and polite.

Javier is the man! Very professional, went above and beyond. Additionally, all the drivers for SAIA in Cape/Fort Myers tend to be very friendly and courteous. Thank you SAIA!

I see people that complain about their delivery not arriving on the day, at the time requested. Please review LTL shipping on Google. You will see that LTL shippers are under no obligation to deliver on specific days and times (within reason.) Of course, in the name of good customer service, they all try. Circumstances vary. IF a shipment is agreed to be a Guaranteed Shipment, then deliveries on agreed days and times are just that...Guaranteed! Issue is, customers dont want to pay for a guaranteed delivery. If its that important to receive it on a certain day and time, pay the extra!!!

So far so good. A 1 lot/2 piece at 350 lbs order was placed Thanksgiving week and seems to be making very decent time considering the Holiday. Item picked up 11/21 from Carrollton, TX, and is currently in-transit from the Jacksonville, FL terminal to Fort Myers, FL as of 11/27... Will update, but satisfied so far. UPDATE: Called today to schedule my delivery for tomorrow, 11/28. First guy at the call center was very polite and professional and called my local facility with me on the line to set up the delivery appointment. Second gentleman was just as professional and polite as the first. Was all scheduled and off the phone within 5 minutes and all while being treated like a TRULY valued customer. I don't understand the 1 star ratings on here, so far I'd received nothing but a 5 star experience.

My package was picked up yesterday(Monday) in Jacksonville, Fl. Some one day delivery, was told they would deliver my item Weds. and between 12-5. day late with large drop off window. So I wanted to pick my item up today Tuesday, I was told I could pick up between 6-8 PM. I would never use this company again!

This company let me down twice. Once on a pick, my product hung over a little on the pallet it set on so they wouldn't take it. The second time was a delivery I waited all day for it and when it did not show by 6pm I called the office and was told the truck broke down earlier. They could have at least called and said something.
