I greeted both employees working today with “hello how are you guys?” Including a supervisor I believe. Neither replied. They continued talking as I waited directly in front of employee Yadira. She continued talking. I handed her my ID, but she continued talking and without acknowledging me. I was the only customer inside. When she finally finished talking. She said, “so what do you want?” All I needed was a money order. I did bring a lot of cash. I explained why and I’ve been doing this for years working in the service industry. She was annoyed and when she finished I said thank you again very much to which she didn’t reply or make any eye contact. I truly don’t know why this had to be unpleasant, but thanks again.

Truly terrible customer service! Wouldn't recommend this location at all nor am I ever going back to Amscott at all! I got off work and walked 3 miles just to cash my check only to be told my check looked fraudulent and that she had to call corporate to verify its legitimate like I would risk my job and/or Freedmom for something so petty it was a thousand plus dollar check and I've been waiting to receive it from my boss due to him losing it thru FedEx now I'm out of a hotel room and back in the streets struggling due to this lack of professionalism!! WOULD GIVE 0 STARS!!

I usually have a good experience at this Amscot but today the teller who took care of my transaction was rather rude. She came to my window, didnt even great me and seemed annoyed, as though I was interrupting her. I did see she was on the phone when I entered but as someone with customer service experience, the client in front of you should always take priority over the client on the phone. She rushed through my transaction, threw my money order in the tray, mumbled something and walked away. The staff here is usually very polite and professional so I wrote this review with the hopes that it remains that way.

I walked in to a to amscot about 5:45 on 11-19-19 2 woman working I was the only customer they asked me to fill out paper work for my cash advance I was done with my paper work let them know they completely ignored me and continued to have a personal conversation for 15 minutes before attending to me the. On top of that when I was attended of course after there personal conversation because they felt that was more important then doing there job they gave me an attitude one of the young ladies had long fake nails just kept clicking my paper with her nails and giving me attitude I would never return there again I’m in the customer service field I would never treat someone in such a rude unprofessional manner never go here very disappointing unprofessional and personal conversation are more important the Customers they seem to hate there job maybe should find one that suits having personal conversations then assisting customers

Went in for western union because I had went to another location before that was actually down , which they refered me to this location because etheir western union wasn’t down .. I had went 10 mins before closing and the lady said it was “down” just because it was 10 mins before closing . I know dang well that it doesn’t take that long to type in the code to give me my money .. never going here again , for what just for them to smirk and lie in my face again. No thanks . All she said was “ not working , closed”

This store is pretty good, employees are nice!And are always willing to help you I go there pretty often. Sure they get a little busy some days but overall not bad, ps. Theyre there to bail you out of a jam you created. Get over yourselves

I waited a whole hour just to get a loan, because they said they didn't want to accept my bank statement because it didn't have my banks logo on it. So they had to call to see if my bank was "real", mean while all they needed was my routing number... And I had to wait a WHOLE HOUR for them to do that!???? I'm very upset with this poor and ridiculous service. The whole thing was uncalled for. Poor service.

Recently moved to Hunters Creek, beautiful area to live, so I decided to use this amscot assuming that customer service would be just as great as the area is..WRONG..the woman who helped me when I went in was rude to the customer before me, and when the customer left the employee used a "term" that was basically making fun of the woman..I confronted the employee and asked her what it meant and she was like pretending she didn't know what I was talking about..my next issue with this amscot is I got a phone call as a reminder of my appointment which is nice, and I told the woman since I have recently moved here my paydates have changed as well and I would have to wait instead of friday to come in monday, the woman put me on hold for ten minutes then hung up on me, I assumed by accident and so I called back and this woman gets on the phone with an attitude, I gave her my information to.pull up my account and explained to her we got disconnected, and she did NOT care at all the least bit, she was like cutting me off and telling me we already changed it in your account..which is funny because I got disconnected before so they never even let me finish what I said before theyput me on hold and hung up on me. Not going back to this amscot, may be taking buisness eelsewhere all together.

As soon as I walk in I'm not greeted. I've never been to an amscot before keep in mind. The lady yells at me because I walked over to an open window and then tells me I need to stay put so they know who's next. Worst customer service ever!!!
