Their service department simple doesn't care about customer service in the least. It's sad since Ryder promises all these fairy tale benefits and delivers on none of them.

Thorpe rd orlando,fl location. I can agree with many other ppl is not a customer friendly location I unfortunately had to experience this myself. Gerald a rental service team member was very rude and unhelpful. Nicole who I later spoke with over the phone after waiting at office more then 25 mins and no one attending me or greeting me , sorry I was greeted by Gerald when he rudely addressed me. She(nicole) was very unhelpful in giving me the information I was asking, very aggressive and hostile. She referred herself as the person in charge. Very disappointed in the experience. Was not able to resolve anything in my visit. I was told by Nicole the person over her john Martin was unavailable on vacation and no one else could help me. That was a lie Jeff hunch was available at there Corporate office in Miami. She could have directed me to him but she was very unhelpful. Agree 100% this location is very poor in there customer relations and service.

My company leases from Ryder and Penske and I've got to say, Penske is better. They have trucks available more often, their service people are outstanding. Ryder gets the job done.

Rental department is horrible, customer service is despicable the quality of the trucks is lousy. The information you get from the staff is not credible or accurate. If you rent from them Be prepared for a very unsatisfactory and frustrating experience.

Have driven Ryder tractor and trailer combos since 1990 to present ... No complaints from me ... Always clean equipment rented or leased to you & maintenance schedule appointments to remind you ... some times it might be a few days waiting for your truck to be ready if a major mechanical issue presents itself .... but ... that's trucking for ya ... The truck kept braking and delayed our travel for about 12 hours, having to stop many times in the service stations. In our way back started to give us trouble again. Terrible experience
