The self service kiosks have done wonders for Steak N Shake. It was always a favorite of mine but finding good service became a myth... now it's just you and the cook, and the food is always fresh, hot, and fast. I had never been to this place and I wanted to try the milkshakes with my wife. We order in store 2 milkshakes. We saw them being served and we also saw them stand in a corner while we waited 20 minutes for them. When I asked for them and let her know about the wait time sAnd that is leaving a tip I cant imagine if you dont leave oneaface and looks at my receit like she doesn’t know what I am talking about me being the only customer there. Not even a simple apology for the wait, good nights or thank you! Milkshakes were barely drinkable because they were too thick!

Very good burgers and perfect French fries! Since I discovered Steak n Shake, we won't ever go at the red/ yellow clown burger restaurant! And their shakes are awesome as well! I mostly order at the drive-thru and they are quick and never did a mistake. Employees are always courteous as well! Thumbs up to this location and its team!

Usually pretty good. Always worth the price. They stopped doing table service and you must order at the kiosk and wait for your order. Burgers good but seem smaller than they used to be.

Not satisfied at all. They have done away with servers, have to use a touch screen instead of a menu and the portions were very small. A person with vision issues can't see the screen. You have go get your order after your name being called out. Not a good setup for people that have mobility issues.

They no longer carry chicken tenders, their chili mac was chili with spaghetti noodles not macaroni noodles and they don't have the royal burger anymore. The staff is always nice in the drive thru. The Frisco burger was very thin. Why does Shake n Shake charge soo much for sooo little meat?

I gave this restaurant two stars only because the food is half way decent. However, the 20 minute wait for my double steak burger who’s Patties are so thin, I’m surprised the cook didn’t get paper cuts. I don’t know about other Steak n’ Shakes, but the manager here informed me all too clearly that what I got was a double. Judge for yourself the picture speaks louder than words.

Staying the weekend to go to universal and decided to order online. When we got our food our fries weren't even full let alone barely halfway. Our milkshakes weren't full either, more around 3/4 full. Food was warm but having to pay for a large and get less than a medium is agitating.

They still have great hamburgers and fries for a good price. Food is always straight off the grill fresh and quality of meat is still great with generous amount of toppings if you desire. You might not be in and out like McD's but quality and freshness of food doesn't compare.

This Stake N Shake is located at the Highland Lakes Center off of Highway 50. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty busy. We were seat right away, but had to wait a bit after that before saw anyone else. Besides that the service was great. The food was nice too.
