This pharmacy is bad in customer service. I waited in the drive thru line for 30mins due to a COVID test being done ahead of me. They need to find a better way to handle that. Also no one wears a name tag and one lady speaks to you like you are gum on her show. Very drill Sargent like. The pharmacist aka manager is not much better. I’m taking my scripts elsewhere.

About to transfer all of my prescriptions to another pharmacy due to the results of my visit at the Pametto store over the past 2 days. 3 pain killer medicines were called in. Went in for a surgery this morning major, picked up 2 prescriptions yesterday and the pharmacist failed to let me know CVS was out of stock at their store. Apparently it’s a narcotics and it can’t be transferred to another CVS. Ridiculous, ridiculous, ridiculous !if I was informed yesterday this script had been out for weeks at my pharmacy, when I picked up the other, I could have resolved this issue. I’ve had my surgery and am in a great deal of pain, and suffering because a pharmacist couldn’t communicate with me about the out of stock meds.

I have been getting my prescription filled here for 6 years and within the past year or so they have been consistently terrible at it. I had to go MONTHS without a script that I had been taking every day for the past 5 years because they simply wouldn't fill it even though I spoke to my doctor about it being filled. They were extremely rude to me when I was trying to get the script filled, and then proceeded to give me the wrong one. My script is an automatic refill and they simply don't refill it and when I go in to get it filled they tell meto come back two hours later and when I do they tell me that it's out of stock. Absolutely terrible customer service with no regard for customers scripts that alter their body not being filled and no empathy whatsoever. They always are incredibly rude and treat me asking them to do their job as an inconvenience. I am switching pharmacies after too many interactions like this.

Rude barely understandable foreigners who will let my husband pick up my medications without ID but suddenly today when I needed it and left my purse at home, they couldn't give me MY MEDICATIONS because we I didn't have my ID. My husband and I went to get flu shots today. There is something off with the pharmacy at this location, not sure if they are not trained properly. Initially they told me my medical insurance was "terminated" (I just used it yesterday so it wasn't) and they said they didn't take my husbands insurance,VA Healthcare, (checked the website before and they said they did). They also had no idea about the $5 of $20 shopping pass they advertised with a flu shot.

I also asked what is the GOOD RX PRICE . She refused to apply it . After insisting for her to please apply this free discount. She stopped saying no and told me to come back. I will be required to walk inside despite my being in pain. Nor could she justify why she was subjecting me to this poor and inhumane lack of service. I later went back and a professional and emphatically cordial black lady assisted me . She was a True example of what the other girl should emulate. CVS ; do a better job hiring staff! Customers waiting to check out have no choice but to wait and use the self check out because the employees are to useless to use a cash register. The management needs to get their stuff together and fire the lazy and useless employees and hire people that are going to treat the customers as an important commodity.

Needed some bandaged, ointments, tape for securing gauze pads for my first aid kit. Store has changed inside with new signage, but In my opinion old signage was easier to read and see. Store was quite busy with shoppers, which I think is good. I did notice all checkout positions were enclosed with dividers, and everyone I saw were masked up. I have used CVS for many years, and find the staff I always kind and considerate, in addition to being knowledgeable about the location, and where the items in question are found. The store is located downtown Palmetto at 10th & 8 st, across from Checkers, and the driveway taking you to Publix Grocery. This is really a busy intersection, do caution is advised.
