I just moved out this way from the New Port Richey area so I was looking for an exotic pet supply store and came across treasure cove. I did not expect my experience is to live up to my previous store which is now an hour away from me. Imagine my surprise and happiness when the staff was knowledgeable, pleasant, and had everything I wanted or needed. I would recommend

Went for bugs. Got healthy looking bugs. Kind of on the pricey side but I'd rather give to local business anyway. Store is small but not cramped. Not a huge selection of pets that I could see, mostly fish tanks, a few reptiles. Great customer service. Will be back for sure

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. I drove a hour to check out this place for there saltwater fish and coral selection. As i opened the door it smelled so bad that i nearly walked back out. Had i not driven so far to get here i wouldve. Next thing i noticed is the place is so dark and dirty everywhere. Nearly every tank was empty with maybe 5 fish total for sale. The coral selection was abysmal with less then 30 of the tinest unhealthy frags ive ever seen. All the fish tanks had detritus in them, the rest of the tanks had bad hair algage and red slim algae in them. the selection of equipment and supplies was pitiful to say the least. These people have no idea how too run a busness at all, surprised there still open. DONT SUPPORT THESE PEOPLE AS THEY DONT KNOW HOW TO CARE FOR THESE ANIMALS . The notorious horrible smell is from them not cleaning the anmal tanks regularly. I felt bad leaving this place knowing these animals couldnt do anything but hope they get saved and put into proper care. As i was leaving i could over hear a lady talking to the 1 customer in the store about how she couldnt keep certain corals alive. How do people work at a place that cant keep these animals alive??? they obviously lack the knowledge to keep all these animals happy and alive , as well as no knowledge to run a business... Sadly i have to leave 1 star but it should be negative 5 stars. i can only hope somebody comes in and revamps this store or shuts them down for there terrabile care of these animals.

Very nice people and excellent prices! Happy there is a local small business that sells fish so I can avoid the big box stores.

There's not enough of these cool small pet stores in my opinion. The saltwater area is like visiting a small marine aquarium for free. I plan on taking my nephew who is in awe of everything in the ocean. It's a small pet store but they offer plenty.

I looked everywhere for Colombian Red and Blue Tetras and finally found them at Treasure Cove. They are very healthy and already settling in. I will definitely be back - all the fish and tanks looked beautiful and healthy. Nicest aquarium store I’ve been to in a while and great customer service.

Best place in town for all your reptile and aquatic needs! They are SO knowledgeable, courteous and extremely helpful! Don’t go anywhere else.

Love this little place. Been getting snakes, feeder mice, etc. from here for years. And by coincidence, I just happened to snap a picture of their largest enclosure that I really like. 🐁🐀🐢🦎🐍🐟🐠🦗👍🏻 ONE LOVE

Always an amazing experience here. It's like a second home for me now...I have gotten so many things from here from fish to bearded dragons leopard geckos to all the supplies for them including a ferret. You never know what you might find here and it's always great
