Worst pharmacy experience I've EVER had. Do NOT go to this pharmacy. I don't know how bad the other locations in Winter Haven are but I know for a fact this one is horrible. The people working in this pharmacy are incompetent and if you don't want to use your insurance they'll give you the run around. I REPEATEDLY told them I would just pay for it out of pocket and they would tell me they couldn't fill it and were trying to call my doctor for an alternative. Turns out they get dinged if you don't use insurance. This place is so unethical. I'm so disgusted with them. I called Publix who was able to get it transferred over and filled it for me NO PROBLEM.

Look at how bad the reviews are I'm not alone these people only care about themselves. This is the WORST pharmacy I have ever dealt with but FAR. I can't believe management and corporate have allowed this to go on so long. I would be more than happy to change this review IF you people put forward an effort to change until then...Enjoy your one star you don't deserve any but there is no option for that.

Awful pharmacy. Took a day and a half to refill my prescription. When at the pharmacy, there was only one technician working the drive thru and front counter while a group of 3-4 people stood there talking. When the pharmacist asked if we’ve been helped I said no and she yelled across the pharmacy to the one technician working, who was on the phone and handing some one in drive thru their prescription at the same time, to come get the pick up at the front counter. Then went back to the group talking. This is only my second time here and both experiences were awful. DO NOT use CVS as a pharmacy.

Refuse to fill prescriptions faxed by doctors. Say that the doctor must qualify every change and answer their inquiries as to whether the doctor realizes what he is prescribing or changing. Also indicated I probably do not know how or what I’m supposed to be taking.

I am a disabled veteran. My doctor at the VA sent in a prescription along with a simple form called a “Heritage form” that allows the VA to pay for my prescription. This CVS refuses to simply fill out the form and insists I pay full price. This CVS is obviously not veteran friendly. In light of this CVS’s refusal to help military veterans I ask that anyone reading this review spread the news and not patronize this establishment. There are plenty of other pharmacies in the area that are patriotic and honor or help disabled military veterans.

Completely awful experience 3 times with this pharmacy! You will never get a pharmacist to answer a call, waited almost an hour on 3 occasions before giving up. They messed up my prescriptions 3 times. Never using them again!!

Their service level has declined tremendously. They don’t answer the phone and faxes from doctors get “lost”. I’m stuck calling doctor and pharmacy back and forth. Takes a week to get refills sorted out. Very frustrating! I don’t know if they’re understaffed or what.

I have yet to get prescription refills at the time promised. It always ( or so it seems) that it takes a minimum of 3-4 days to have a refill. Don’t get me started on when the doctor faxes in a prescription. That takes even longer. By the time they get around to filling it, they find they don’t have the medication in stock. The last two times they had the prescription on Monday. It wasn’t filled until Friday. They found out it was not in stock so they had to order it. It then didn’t get to the store until the following Monday afternoon. ONE WEEK TO GET REFILLS——They got one star because I could not rate any lower.

I’ve been on hold over 30 minutes x 4 this month no one ever answers. They are understaffed only 1 person working most of the time. They continue to send refill requests to the wrong doctor. I should not have to go in person time and time again to get refills it’s not that complicated. I’m switching to Publix.
