Had a wonderful experience this evening when I only had a list of types of items I needed but no ideas what to get. The ladies were patient, helpful, and didn't rush us even though it was in the last half hour before closing. Thank you for making my life easier and providing expertise.

So I thought it was just me, but after reading other Google reviews for the Acworth location, it's apparent that certain reps at this particular store do indeed racially profile customers. I'm writing this review because it happened to me on two different occasions. The first time, Cassie (presumed to be the Store Mgr), lingered around as I shopped for lip gloss. She even went so far as to come behind me and retrieve one of the testers that I must have contemplated for too long. When I went back to one particular aisle I found the tester of a gloss that I was considering missing. Since Cassie lingered in the area "working"/watching me for so long, I decided to ask her about it. She responded, "Oh I must have picked it up by mistake I believe it's on my cart, I'll have to get it for you." Strangely, she had placed it behind the register at the front. Despite my suspicion, I decided not to leave a review then. So the second time, I'm shopping for fragrance... again contemplating which was better for probably too long since Cassie and now her theft prevention accomplice, Maddie, watched me the entire time I was there like a pair of hawks. Each taking turns to ask if I was "finding everything ok" -incessantly. Annoyed, but I still entertained them with kindness. Like before, I returned to an aisle only to find that a YSL fragrance which I was considering had been removed and placed behind the counter. This time Maddie retrieved the fragrance from behind the counter stating that she too had mistakenly placed it in her cart. Clearly this is something that Corp. needs to address before Ulta is hit with a warranted class action for racial profiling.

Nicole is amazing🤩. She takes her time and gives you exactly what you ask for.. she’s very knowledgeable about color and texture. She did a phenomenal job installing my tape in extensions!! I highly recommend her ⭐️

When it comes to hair - Andrea is the best of the best. She's personable, patient, and so encouraging. She's like the best friend you've known for years, and she is a creative genius. Her communication is so wonderful and clear. She saved my hair. There is no question. When I first saw her, my hair was a mess, and she is magic. Her eye for detail, masterful color artistry, and ability to genuinely listen to my needs, my lifestyle, and wants is superior. I cannot see myself going to anyone else for my hair, because not only is she incredible, she helps to teach me how to do my hair. I had never gone to a hairdresser who listened to me like she does, and her wonderful personality -- I used to hate haircuts, but now I look forward to going to see her. Magnificent, wonderful, amazing, the amount of wonderful things I can say about her could fill a book. Thank you, Andrea for helping me love my hair and feeling beautiful again!

I went in to get a conair hair dryer brush and was immediately racially profiled. I was followed around the store by an associate and the manager even though I told them I didn't need assistance. Even as I was walking to the register said manager and associate stood in the middle of the store and watched me as a checked out and left and made sure to speak to me again as I was walking out of the store. This has completely turned me off of ulta beauty all together and I will not be returning. This staff was rude and disrespectful, just because I was a young black woman walking into a predominantly white establishment does not mean I should have been treated the way I was. I won't be back and I hope other people of color stay away as well.

My daughter had the best experience at the salon! Andrea listened to what she said about her fears in cutting her long hair. Andrea made my daughter's long thick hair look beautiful after an extremely well done long layer cut. I have not seen a smile like that on my 14 year old in a long time. Highly, highly recommend Andrea H. We will be back!! Thank you so much Andrea, you truly did an amazing g job.
