Took our 6 month old Mini Australian Shepherd to get his nails trimmed. He obviously was anxious as it was his first time there. The staff didn’t even acknowledge him, pet him, or try to make him comfortable. They just grab him by the leash and took him back. After taking him back to trim his nails, they brought him back a few minutes later saying there was absolutely no way they could trim his nails because he was “too much”. Didn’t even seem like they tried and weren’t honestly not nice about it at all. With a puppy they are going to be anxious and not super comfortable in a new environment with new people who don’t even acknowledge him. I’m not one to ever leave a review, let a alone a bad one but this was extremely frustrating as we have had no issue getting his nails trimmed elsewhere. As I’m sure you can all see the response of the “owner”. Obviously something went wrong here because instead of apologizing all they are doing is getting defensive. I’m not sure what you expect out of a 6 month old puppy. But first and foremost it is not your place to tell me what I should and shouldn’t do with my puppy. You can go ahead and call his vet if you would like as they have had no issues with him. I’d love to speak with you over the phone as I don’t appreciate your passive aggressive response. As a person who in in family business I would never treat my customers like this. I’m hopeful you will learn from this.

Worst experience ever. My dog was not properly groomed. I showed them a picture of how I wanted my dog's haircut and his hair was not cut like the pic. I was not happy. It was not worth the money I spent. His haircut is chopped up and they did not cut under his belly. It was not what I was expecting. I sent 2 emais to the manager and left messages for someone to call me back and I have not got a phone call back. I will not take my dog back . This was the worst experience I have had with this place.

I absolutely LOVE bringing our dogs here. The groomers do a great job. The prices are a little high, but it’s just because the quality of work is so good! I’m comfortable with what I pay for our small dogs!

I got my dog cut there and it was not good at all. I told the girl what I wanted got back to pick him up and it was nothing like I asked to get done. I had his face cut twice again and it still wasn't satisfied. I just said it was good just to get out of there. I wanted a summer short cut and did not receive it. I cut it myself when I got home. Iam a hairdresser/barber . The reason I like other groomers to cut it he behaves better with them. He did great with me so I guess I will become a dog grommer also.

Bark Dog Spa & Boutique is by far the best grooming establishment in Athens and believe me, I've tried plenty of places. Not only is the cost worth every penny, your pups are excited when they're picked up and look so darn cute. I also love that for a $10 add-on of brushing the dogs teeth and some you also get a picture of your pet with the current backdrop. I can't say more good things about Bark Dog Spa. I'm so happy I found the place I'll always take my dog to from now on.

I have been a loyal customer to Bark Spa for years. My 1st dog they groom (Kaiser) he was 12 passed 1 year ago so it’s history with this business. My new dog Jaz 9 months old. I made appointment in advance tried to reschedule appointment. I was put off 1 month she even asked what kind of dog what does the breed of the dog determine. I asked she couldn’t give me a proper reason. Really!!! Is this how you do your loyal returning customer. Customer service is everything this didn’t suppose to happen like this not when you got connections with a returning customer. My all means this is not a temper tantrum this is stating the facts about a customer that returns to your business over and over and over again. And tell others about the goodness of the service. Really!!!

Def love bringing the dogs here. Always come home smelling nice and super clean. The poodles are excited to walk through the door and the girls are happy to see my boys. No better groomer in the Athens area!
