I’ve been seeing Emily Jane for about 2 years now and she is really talented. When I first came to her I was in the process of growing out a shaved head and looking for help navigating that process. I wanted to go for a mullet and shared with her that the person I saw previously had cut off all my growth in the back and it was a very upsetting experience. She was super communicative around what I wanted and checked in with me regularly to make sure I was comfortable with how things were going. I left with a haircut I was in love with and feeling very cared for. She has delivered some epic mullet cuts since then and I always leave feeling giddy about my new cut. She’s really good at shaping hair to fit your face/head. I generally wait longer than I should to refresh my cut, and my cuts have grown out really well too. The haircut I received at Steve Hightower’s salon was the best I’ve had in 5 years. The salon was beautifully layer out there was no waiting and everyone was super professional. I’ve only have had fantastic experiences at Steve Hightower Hair Salon & Day Spa. I’ve been exclusively seeing Javier for almost 10 years now. He is very skilled! He cuts/colors my curly hair, my sisters thick wavy hair, my moms fine straight hair, my husband, my brother-in-law, and my cousins from Australia. We have never been disappointed when we walk out. He offers suggestions on cut, color & layers according to our skin tone,face shape, and what level of maintenance we personally want. The whole staff has always been friendly and helpful! The first thing I love about Steve Hightower salon is that the moment you walk in the door you’re immediately greeted with a gracious welcome by virtually everyone there. Quite a contrast from what the standard has come to be in the rest of the city. I’m a guy in my 60’s, but Javier created a contemporary image for me with a style for my hair and beard that brought out the best of me. Javier has a prospective of not only a great image of American classic, but an international image as well. I recently attended a out of town businesses event where the majority of the attendees were from different parts of the world. It was the type of event that was heavily video taped and photographed and I believe I got a great deal of attention because of the image Javier brought out in me. And the BEST part is it’s effortless for me to maintain after I’ve left the salon. Javier’s impeccable clipping and snipping work with my natural hair qualities so that once I showed, dried my hair and beard AND applied the product he recommended - it was effortless to maintain that look. Javier brought my best self that is in the contemporary image, but comfortable for me. Service: Haircut

I have had the pleasure of going to Steve Hightower's Salon and Spa for several years now and it never disappoints! I love that they specialize in treating and styling fine and thinning hair because I've dealt with some hair loss as I get older due to stress, hormones, and genetics. The salon itself is always spotlessly clean and well-kept and the decor/ambiance is comfortable chic. I've had services with Rebecca and Steve and both are fabulous with my short hair cuts and color needs. The salon staff is always friendly, welcoming, and looking to accommodate you during your visit. They have an extensive selection of products for all hair needs and their recommendations for these have been very helpful. I can't praise them enough for their services.
