This is my first review post but I deemed it necessary. The Visionworks Cumberland location is the definition of poor customer service. It feels as though they are trained in the art of poor service. This is no an indictment of the doc and his support staff that assist in the contact exam - they are great.
I went in last year to pick you glasses. We selected a frame and they were too busy to complete my purchase and said they would call me back that day to complete to transaction. Three days later, I missed their single call back (I was working). I returned their call at which point they told me they cannot complete a transaction over the phone and I had to come back. I elected to go purchase at Target.
Against my better judgement, I returned Jan 5 for an eye exam. Their system was down and the process took close to 2 hours. Since their system was down, I was informed they would call me back to complete payment and order my contacts. After missing their phone call (I was working), I returned their call. It took maybe 4 attempts of 15 min long wait times before I got to the right contact. They told me that I had to come in because they do not process orders over the phone and I had to come in 😑. I of course will not be ordering from their location nor ever be returning. ~Arnaud
