Bud is a great mechanic who will try everything he can to fix your car, even if other mechanics at other locations may deem it unsalvageable because they are too lazy to think of the unconventional. All this service for less than the competitors, with a free tow to boot!

I highly recommend this place! The guys in the shop are friendly, courteous, professional and knowledgeable. Their prices are very fair, and they always call to let me know what they will do before they begin work. We have never had to wait long for service. We have found great mechanics here and won’t take our cars anywhere else!

I have been impressed again and again by AAW. They are friendly, professional and take customer satisfaction very seriously. We've had some weird problems, and Bud was tenacious in finding the solution. Then, after spending untold hours finding the problem, he only charged us for parts and labor actually spent fixing it, which was inexpensive. They've done good work for us for years, and I hope we can trust them again for years to come.

The owners here are amazing, seriously knowledgeable and super courteous!! They may not remember me, but I had dropped in after leaving a small repair place on the East side near Kroger, when my car had started making this awful noise near the wheels. The first repair shop said they closed in thirty minutes so I'd have to leave it, for them to look at sometime the next day. I'm a single mom caring for a sick son, working two jobs and was basically driving an old clunker. I had no way home, so I said I'd bring it back. After looking under the car, the guy said I needed some axle bolts, estimate 300-350.00 to repair. I drove home and on the way saw Athens auto works and decided to try to get another estimate. They were also close to closing, but pulled my car in put it on a lift, moved heaven and earth to find bolts for a 27 year old Miata then put them in, explaining they didn't want me to try to drive home, I could've been killed, the axel was falling off! They fixed it for 35.00... thirty five dollars!!!! Seriously I had tears of happiness. I would never, go anywhere else again!

Been taking my cars here for over ten years. Always good service and Bud usually fixes/adjusts a few other things while he's at it and doesn't charge extra. Stand up place.

He is one of those mechanics that will call you before he fixes anything, and tell you his logic and what the effects he predicts might be. His shop is smart, honest, and down to earth.

My husband and I take our cars there and they have done such a professional job on them that we won't take them any where else. They are friendly and knowledgeable on foreign cars. Even had my daughter in-law drive up from Snellville to fix her van. They know their job and do it very well. I never drive away worried that it wasn't fixed right. I highly recommend them.
