Wonderful experience for our 4 year old. He loves it here! We tried a larger studio and it was definitely not a fit, but we feel right at home here

This is a review for both Kaiyah and myself. We really enjoy the community atmosphere at Choe’s HapKiDo. Kaiyah talks glowingly about the relationships she has built there and enjoys both furthering her own martial arts goals as well as seeing her peers reach their goals as well. She says it helps her be more confident and gives her something to work towards, and helps her feel like she’s making healthy choices. We love the family atmosphere and feeling of safety and security at the school. She even got me to take a HapKiDo class with her! If you’re looking for a safe place for both kids and adults, this is it. Good people and a good place to grow in many ways.

This place is terrific in more ways than I can possibly count. I have made a number of friends, learned several techniques for advancing in martial arts and get a lot out of my training. The exercise is well worth it as well. My instructors are awesome and interact well with the variety of ages in my group. They all give great advice! - Jordan

From day one communication has been great. We were unsure if our daughter would like martial arts, but in the past she had been a bit scared of new activities. Instructors made it comfortable and enjoyable, and by the end of her first class she absolutely wanted to come back. I did a good amount of research prior to signing her up, and know we made the right decision joining Choe’s Hapkido Family.

My daughter and I signed up at the same time. She’s in Hapkido and I’m in kickboxing- Best way to get in shape. The atmosphere is great and the “family” helps hold you accountable. The instructors are so good with all of the kids and turn it up a notch for us adults in kickboxing. Not a bad thing to say about this place or the instructors. So happy we started here. My daughter (12 years old) has gained a tremendous amount of self confidence, which was one of our goals for her. Love love love this place!

I was nervous about going to a new martial art after the unique school I attended for American karate. But the instructors here have been nothing but kind and helpful, always reaching to draw out any potential they see in any students, no matter how slowly or quickly they learn. I'm glad that there is a chain devoted to learning real martial arts, and not just another belt factory. I can't wait to continue my progression through the ranks and see what strength these amazing instructors can draw out of me!

I am currently attending kickboxing classes and I like it. They start with cardio and then kickboxing, which is great. The instructor has had lots of patience with me when teaching me, they make the classes fun, as well as cheer. I am also in HapKiDo Martial Arts which I am very excited about and enjoying. I highly recommend coming here. Everyone is friendly here.

We were looking for an activity for our five-year-old daughter. We weren’t sure if she would like Hapkido, but she turned out to LOVE it in large part to the caring, attentive instructor team at the Flowery Branch location. She has been participating about three days a week for two years now! She is on the assistant instructor team and is one year away from her black belt! We love Choe’s Hapkido Flowery Branch and can’t say enough positive things about them! We love the family atmosphere and the positive attributes that are instilled in our daughter. Her self-confidence has sky rocketed and she is thriving since beginning training.

Our 5 year old asks us if we can take her to class. She attends class roughly 3 times a week, and every time she is excited to go. Never do we have to force her which is a the best sign for us. Apart from all the other benefits: discipline, focus, listening, and confidence in her self. She loves Hapkido! Glad we found the right school for her.
