These guys are very helpful. I went in to find a couple items that HD did not have. The clerk took me right to the area to look for the parts. He wasn't sure that they had either item that I was looking for, but he took the time to locate what ended up working perfect for both the items that I needed.

I called for a specific item, was quoted a price and asked to hold the item for the next morning since I couldn’t make it before closing. The employee said they has an abundance and I didn’t need to pay for the item as it would not be sold out. I arrived at the store the following morning (less than 12 hours later). The manager would not honor the price quoted by her employee, nor would she honor the price on the Ace Hardware.com website. She said she implemented a price change at closing the prior day and it was inflation and I needed to deal with it. A $30.00 increase on a $139.00 item in less than 12 hours. Very very poor customer service and management. It’s hard to support small business when you encounter situations such as this. So the stores response one month later is that I am lying about the pricing and situation. Pretty fascinating way of telling me I’m am lying about the pricing. What would be the motivation? I spent my early career in this industry and find this incredibly sad. Another huge reason to not patronize this establishment.

Lifetime warranty does not mean lifetime at this store. I kept the label, but they need the original receipt. It’s LIFETIME warranty. Started leaking and they told me tough luck.

Don’t buy Christmas items as gifts because they cannot be returned or exchanged. The sales associate, Beverly at the Fullerton store knew I was buying the item as a gift and never mentioned all sales are final and even offered me a gift receipt which I have. But nope, as their paper receipt clearly states, Christmas items are final sale. I even asked for a store gift card instead of my money back to no avail. I was disappointed to say the least.

I bought a core aerator for my lawn here. When I brought it home to use it, 1 if the hole works ok, the dirt did came out as I pushed down the lawn, but the other hole, the dirt stuck in there and did not come out. Instead of creating hold in the lawn, it just pushed the soil aside and made it more compact. My wife brought the item back to return, but the store manager was saying there was nothing wrong with the aerator, and it was because of our soil, and nothing wrong with the holes in the aerator. What do you mean because of the soil?? The soil stuck in there, it is not supposed to be stuck in there, it's supposed to push the soil out every single time the aerator wash pushed down on the lawn. Such dumb answer from a store manager. I would give 0 star if I could.

I have been to this location several times after going to a big box store and being ignored. Here I am always taken care of and today was no exception. Dakota took time to look at the broken hardware I had brought with me, find how they could help me, open several of their packages to find the right pieces for me, and even sent me an email with a link to one additional part they do not carry. I left with confidence that I could finish my home repair issue without any problems. Yes this hardware store is further from my house, but I always leave with exactly what I need and I am always treated with respect which unfortunately does not occur at the big box competitor.

I had a great experience with curbside pickup! My item was 18.95 on Amazon and 4.99 here. I picked it the next day. You get texted when it is ready. There is a well marked out pickup parking spot and a cheerful employee puts it in your trunk!

Ive been to this hardware store many times and the customer service on the sales floor is excellent. On my visit of 1/23/19 I was helped at the register by Rachel. Her and the other older lady were talking bad about a customer because he wouldn’t get off the phone while they rang him up. Yes I understand that may be rood but they shouldn’t talk about that in front of other customers. I paid for my items and my items weren’t even bagged. I asked Rachel if the bags are free or do I need to pay for it? She said its free. So I asked for a bag. When I got my things in the bag I said to her “Thank you have a nice day” and i got no response from her. I walked towards the door and said again HAVE A NICE DAY. And no response. I honestly felt like returning my items. So maybe some one can tell me who’s more rood.....the customer who was on the phone or Rachel who cant or didnt want to acknowledge me I was just trying to be polite to them.
