Before COVID the staff did a good job of keeping the facility clean, and since coming back I haven’t seen a drop-off. I just recently started going back to the gym after COVID. I will say it was clean and I felt very safe. The staff and customers utilizing the equipment cleaned up after themselves to help prevent the spread of these ongoing viruses.

I workout at various Planet Fitnesses around the country. I happened to be in Atlanta, this weekend, and came to this location, around 3 pm. The lady with glasses was helpful, professional, and friendly. My experience took a nose-dive when another staff member came up to me, almost an hour into my workout; she asked me to remove my small backpack, which holds my workout bands. She said it needs to go to the locker or to my car. Imagine my surprise! I've never been told I couldn't carry my bag. Most PFs enforce, "no bags SITTING on the ground. " So, I explained to her this request was new. She said her Mgr asked her to do it. I went on to express to the other staff member that this policy ( if that's what it is) should be enforced state and nation-wide then. If it is safety reasons, I get it. It makes sense. But Lord forbid someone has a medical crisis and can't get to his or her locker or car in time. Or can't protect his or her self, if violence does erupt. Still, I can't say anyone was rude, but it was an odd and off-putting request. Not only that, but afterwards, the manager and staff member who made the request were eating potatoe chips (and whatever else) at the desk and watching people like hawks, in an intimidating manner. Eating at the front desk of a fitness center, interesting.🤔 So my question is, if you're going to enforce stuff, then why not all things? Like eliminating unprofessional conduct such as, no eating and gossiping at the front desk, which was the most obvious.

The lady manager Tiffany is one rude person!!! She does not need to be in customer service. I will take my business back to other locations but this one is dirty and she rude and really does not like her job. Wish I could rate a 0. There are all new faces and it’s probably because every quit because of her.

I recently just started and they're very clean in there got all the workout equipment you can work every piece of your body in there they just don't have a sauna and a pool but they have showers very clean bathrooms and the staff is very nice

Staff always professional and friendly especially the tall dude who works at nite. The dude always smiling..says hello everytime...will even speak if he see you n the parking lot on his way home....this is why I go to the Riverdale location and not the Jonesboro location anymore

Club and equipment great Staff, Absolutely the worst. A few employees and the manager riona have no idea what they are doing with your billing. I canceled my account with a team member twice and was still charged for months thereafter. When I noticed the charges, I spoke with the manager and she offered no assistance with regards to a refund for ANY month and didn’t apologize about me being misled multiple times by the staff. I can understand if they don’t want to refund but the fact that as a manager she didn’t care at all about my issue as the customer is just terrible. I love planet fitness but this one is awful.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I came to planet fitness to make a change in my life to lose weight. They turned me away. It was due to having a balance from 2019. Which COVID happened. What's crazy is I had an account prior then closed for a period of time 2021 and never did they say I owed a balance in 2019. That's funny all of sudden now, I do? If I am not mistaken they sent an email out saying they were waving all prior balances March 26 and on April 6th. They are nothing but liars. They are not staying true to their statements they send in emails. I am honestly disappointment. And associates act clueless when you do ask questions of waiving balances. I ended up signing up online and they took my money. When I found out they would not allow me to work out they NEVER gave me my money back for that month. I didn't even get to work out at all. I had them cancel my account that day they denied me to work out. Why would I pay when I can't use the membership. It was even crazy that the associate said "do you want to keep your account active?" LOL for what? To walk through the door and to watch. Say hi and talk? NO. Just have nothing left to say about Planet Fitness.

Helped me lose over 40 lbs about 3 years ago! Now, I'm back in the gym and I'm enjoying getting back in shape and reclaiming my health! I haven't used a coach or class, so I can't speak on that. The gyms are typically clean, but I have seen times when the cleanliness level wasn't ours best, but still not horrible. Even when busy, I don't feel I'm being watched nor do I feel judged. Also, the $20 Black Card membership is worth the price. I love the massage chair! The hydro massage bed and chairs are also great. And knowing I have access to any gym really puts me at ease. I recommend this gym, esp to those new to working out or that has been out the gym for a long time :)
