Very disappointed that these two male workers couldn't choose professionalism over personal feelings. I tried to pay online on Saturday evening when my payment was due. I had issues paying online. The store is closed Sunday so, I was not able to deal with it until Monday. I have a busy schedule so I had intentions on calling at 5p Monday, but they beat me to it and called at 4p while I was still at work. That is fine, I answered. Robert's (associate) tone was already harsh as if I was a bad customer or intentionally neglected to pay them. I chose them because I didn't want a new account on my credit. I rented items from them before years ago when I lived in Texas and had a great experience. Robert proceeded to tell me that I had to pay autopay. I disagreed. We went back and forth until I finally agreed to autopay. Then he said I had to pay a $2 phone payment fee. I said that should be waived because it's not my fault that I couldn't pay online. I would be willing to pay online now, but couldn't because of their system. I asked to speak to his manager. Then I realized he had me on speaker because someone was speaking negatively in the background. I said, if that's your manager I don't want to speak to him because he obviously is on your side not mine (the customer) and he probably can't do anything. Darion then got on on the phone and was abrupt. I told him, fine just forget it, I will just make the payment. At this point he was in his feelings. He felt disrespected. Even though during this whole conversation I never used a curse word or said anything derogative. Now I'm frustrated and had been on the phone long enough and needed to go. I just wanted to give my credit card number. I tried repeatedly to give them the number but they kept trying to go backwards in our conversation. Darion was upset that I wouldn't listen to him. Not sure what I needed to listen to, nothing else was relevant. The payment should have been taken and call ended. When a customer situation is elevated you should diffuse the situation. They both failed at doing so. Darion refused to take my payment and said they are picking up my furniture. I just want the franchise owner to know these men aren't looking out for your business. The store had a sale and payment but due to their feelings they refused to take it. Now they have to resale the product, which is not guaranteed. The furniture was delivered damaged. It does not recline on the ends. It was previously used and it seems like the previous owner allowed their children to jump on it which damaged the reclining springs. It also has scratches on the back from being scraped up against the wall. I was going to return it when I found something else which could have been months. I guess that is months worth of payments that RAC does not want. Guess my money is not good money for Darion and Robert.

He answered the phone and help me solve the problem immediately. No thanks to brandsmart, they had canceled my delivery yesterday and said they were out of stock of the refrigerator I had ordered.
