My brakes on my Jeep Wrangler started squealing so I figured it was time for new brakes. They quoted me nearly $200 CHEAPER than DeKalb Tire. I left it with them and within 30 minutes they called me and informed me my brake pads still had plenty of life left. They topped off my fluids and sent me on my way FREE OF CHARGE! I have been using Joe at American Brake for almost 10 years. I dont even live near Marietta, in fact i live on the opposite end of the city. I used Joe from a referral of a friend and have since used American brake exclusivley for all my family vehicles. He has always been honest and fair and have never had a problem with any work done. Even if I did I know that he would make it right ASAP. You cannot ask for a better business to work with and keep you safe. I refer him to anyone who will listen. This is the only place I will take my car! Even after moving an hour away, this is where I go, because the owner Joe is an honest mechanic! He will tell you if you can wait on replacing your brake pads. He told me on multiple occasions (with different cars) to just wait until my next oil change and we'll check them again! A good friend suggested American Brake and I can confirm that Joe and the staff at American Brake are the best!

Joe and his guys are the absolute best. They don't try to over sell, or sell you things that you don't need. They do the service you need at a very fair price. I've been going to him for a couple years now and have never been disappointed. He stands behind his work and makes sure that the customer is satisfied. I've recommended him to anyone that I've known that needs a mechanic.

Joe and his team are the best. I had an alternator die on me and they were there for me. Sorry, not there for me. Beyond there for me, and even got me back on the road within two hours. This place is a must. It is not just brakes, they can diagnose anything and i am forever grateful. JOE and the team it is always a pleasure.

Not sure where to begin, but if you aren't using Joe and his team for your car servicing you're missing out. I was referred to American Brake and will never go anywhere else. Highly professional, quality shop. Have had my brakes done there, and they do a fantastic job. Owner/management wants to take care of the customer, and they do just that. It's hard to find a shop that you can trust these days, but these are quality, trustworthy folks. I've had bad luck with mechanics from overpricing to taking advantage of me as a woman. I found this place on Yelp and Google and I am so happy I did!!! Joe and the team displayed exemplary customer service. My brakes are working better than ever. They did not try to take advantage of me at all and they were very respectful. Also reasonably priced. I will be using them again should the need arise. Very happy with my service!

Found someone I can trust! My dealership told me I needed to replace a cylinder head in my engine ($3600), and replace my engine mounts ($1000) just to pass my emissions inspection on my 2006 H3. Five different friends urged me to call Joe for a second opinion. (It says a lot when all the people you trust point you in the same direction.) Joe worked to fit me into his schedule. He diagnosed a few simple problems and fixed my car right away. He communicated everything effectively and treated me fairly. His staff was great to work with. At the end of the day, I only paid $1400, and I get to keep the car that I love for a few more years. What I really liked about this experience was that I didn't feel I was being condescended to or taken advantage of (like at the dealership). Joe helped me understand which repairs were essential and which could wait. No sales pressure. No BS. Wish I'd known about this shop years ago!
