We decided to go matress shopping today. Sit & Sleep was our second stop. We found a great matress for a great price! Ms. Sharon was so sweet and helpful. It was great to shop at a place where you are made to feel appreciated and not tolerated.

I’ve recently completed my 3rd purchase with Sit & Sleep over a 7+ year period. I was surprised to see they didn’t have a perfect 5 star rating, as my experience has been nothing but overwhelmingly positive. As I thought, the negative marks are filled with some convoluted story lacking punctuation that doesn’t seem to make sense and completely goes against the other 99.9% of positive reviews. In my case, I rarely will ever leave a review, but my first experience with Sit & Sleep was so extraordinarily positive, that it deserves recognition. I first met the general manager Ryan over 7 years ago when I was moving to the Savannah area. Mistakingly, I had originally purchased 4 sets of mattresses from Sit & Sleep’s competitor in the area, a nationwide mattress chain that has multiple locations locally. I told the other mattress firm that I had 3 months, but had sold my house furnished and was moving with kids and my elderly father-in-law across country, so delivery was critical. Over the next 2.5 months, the other firm not only didn’t deliver, but they ignored and lied to me. I was only able to get my money back after opening a dispute with my bank, even though my refund allegedly “was sent” 3 separate times. I only realized after my purchase (silly me, should’ve checked before but figured nationwide chain) and seeing the other mattress firm’s reviews and BBB complaints, that I was not alone in my nightmare of an experience. At my wits end and with no online mattress or bed in box company able to help me, I swung by one of Sit & Sleep’s multiple locations on a whim. I met Ryan at the Montgomery store, and not only was he a knowledgeable professional, he assured me they don’t break commitments. I gave him some background and told him I would take whatever mattress was available, he (smartly) stopped me and made me try the beds to see what I found most comfortable. To my amazement, they had almost everything I liked in stock (in Savannah too, not at a hub halfway across the state), but deliveries were jam packed. Knowing my situation, Ryan then offered to come in on his day off, and him and another employee would make a delivery directly to me. Delivery day came, everything was as promised, and to my shock, Ryan had called in some favors and the out of stock mattress was even on the truck. Sit & Sleep had all the same products other stores had, they were noticeably cheaper, and the level of service was unmatched. Ryan and Sit & Sleep earned a customer for life and I can’t recommend them enough.

The team at sit and sleep is top notch, I ordered a king mattress from the pooler store and elected to pick it up myself, they helped me load it and tie it down in my pick up. 3 months later when I did a warranty claim the sit and sleep team delivered my warranted mattress and took away the old one free of charge. Great business!

Sit & Sleep Mattress Company is owned by a highly respected member of the community of Savannah. I have known him for almost 3 decades. We have done business together on numerous occasions. He and his staff run an honorable and reputable establishment and are second to none in terms of ethics and morals. For a customer to say otherwise is just pure fiction. To leave a 1 star review for this company is uncalled for and horrible! The company must think of its employee’s safety. When a customer purchases a mattress where free deliver and removal is included that is contingent on the customer living in a healthy environment. It does not mean the deliver drivers to enter a house of horrors that involves hoarding and squaller. Those are human beings delivering brand new goods to humans beings that need to go back home to their healthy families. Human secretions, maggots, dust and other years of indescribable filth nullify that contract of service to preserve their lives. Don’t take advantage of the internet bc of your filthy habits. These delivery drivers are delivering 100’s of pounds of mattresses per day in this sweltering heat; they do t need your filth adding to the already hard job. This is is a service as well; tip the people that do a service for you and stop hiding behind your keyboards you filthy low life human beings. Clean up your house and your lives. Thank you Sit & Sleep for everything you do and the honest services you offer. Ryan and Gary, thank you; I have felt your pain!

Terrible service, would not recommend doing business with liars. We specifically went with them so we could get the mattress set delivered and our used mattress set removed. Everything went to plan until they got here and would not take our mattress set because it had an soda stain on it which they never said anything about what condition the mattress had to be in to take it with them. So instead we told them to take it to the curb and which I assume they got lazy and left it on our pavement about 10 feet away from the curb and they left it on our recycle bin which it fell on top of. Also, it fell on top of my neighbors plants which you can see on the photos. We ended up having to call them three times and on the third time they said they couldn't do anything. I would recommend to not do business with these liars.

We have purchased two beds and about 5 mattresses from Ryan over the past 14 years. We are always happy with the service and quality of the items! During one move as things were being unpacked we realized that all the hardware to our daybed had been lost… way to go military movers… I called Ryan and he was able to track down a hardware kit for the daybed we bought from him in 2009!!!! What a lifesaver! That company didn’t even make the bed anymore! To this day we still have both beds and they have been through multiple military moves. I’m so glad we were given the advice to purchase solid wood. I recommend this store to anyone looking for honesty, great customer service and products that will last.
