It's a good place to go for tourists visiting Po'ipu beach park. Generous portions and prices are in line with current market conditions on Kauai. Very good taste to everything our group ordered, and they pack everything well in a to-go bag. There is no seating or dine-in option at this location. Everything is to-go and you find your own preferred location to eat. Vegetarian options: They have their vegetarian options highlighted on the menu. Kid-friendliness: It's in a small shopping center and you order from the sidewalk, that's about as kid-friendly as you can get. You certainly won't be bothering anyone trying to enjoy their fine dining experience... Parking: Parking is quite restricted, and we parked across the street.

You don't go to Hawaii and have Mexican food... or do you? We were a little tired of fresh fish (never thought I'd say that but after poke and sushi for days) and there's not much around the hotel we started at, and then we remembered the front desk had mentioned this place during check in. I got the pork bowl while hubs got the beef tacos. Both were very good and filling. Portions were huge and fresh.

If you’re craving Mexican DaCrack is where it’s at! Filling portions, great tasting food and price is reasonable. You’ll definitely be full. Service was good, pretty fast and lady on counter was very nice. There is no seating inside as this is a grab and go kinda place. They do accept CC. Good stop for good grub.

Once we tried this place, we were hooked. And the 70 minute round-trip drive was no big deal, knowing that an ahi burrito with lava sauce was the mission. There's more parking in back. The grocery next door has more drink choices. This place is amazing.

Really great local burrito and taco spot. Had their fish tacos and shrimp tacos - did not disappoint. Decent sized selection of meats, with the option to have them in a bowl, taco, or burrito. Was a bit hungry, so me and my girlfriend had two orders of tacos and a keiki burrito to share - came up to around $41. Slightly pricey, but they give you a lot of extras like rice and beans. Parking: There's a parking lot with limited spacing.

My guess is that people came to Kauai for hiking and etc so food is very low in priority hence they give 5 stars to whatever cheap bites they can find. This is not a bad food place but I don't think it deserves more than 3 stars based on food taste because they made the cardinal foodie sin of overcooking the ahi tuna. The tuna is market price so it's much more expensive than you'd think but without the taste of better restaurants. The meat is overcooked to a dry lump that has absolutely no taste. The shrimp tacos are much better. Overall, I only recommend this place for convenience and quick bite.

Long line when we went to pick up dinner, waited about 40 minutes! Simple menu either a burrito, tacos or a bowl! My fish tacos were delicious! He enjoyed his burrito with beef!

Da Crack is Da Bomb! My husband actually said it’s the best Mexican restaurant food he has ever had (their Mexican rice tasted just like his mom’s!). Food was amazing, portions are large, service was prompt & efficient, & prices were reasonable. There is no seating, it’s a walk-up & take your food to-go style of eatery. But I would rather grab my food & get back to the beach anyway, I am in Hawaii after all😄 We visited Da Crack about 7:30 on a Friday night. There was a line of about 20 people when we first arrived so we were a little concerned about getting our order in by closing at 8pm . Our concern was, however, unwarranted. The team taking & filling orders was running like a well-oiled machine. We (& the 20 people in front of us) all had our food in our hands by 7:50. One of the guys working behind the counter even offered to get me a box bc I was having trouble carrying all the food myself. He then ran (literally ran) all the way to the back of the building to get a box for me. Definitely will be our go-to place to eat when we are on Kauai’s south shore. You can even place your order online & just go pick it up. Really happy to have stumbled upon this place! We got chicken tacos on corn tortillas, beef tacos on flour tortillas, and a carne asada bowl. Already devoured most of the tacos before I thought to take a picture!

Was skeptical about this place initially as there was no dine in , only take out and the strip mall seemed run down. But this hole-in-the-wall delivered good Mexican food . The boy taking orders by the window is very efficient.I saw the chefs and helpers sanitizing the counters frequently . Ordered veggie bowl with chips and guac , overall good food for the price and hygienic too. The lines were long but definitely worth the wait . Would have given a 5 star if my burrito bowl had hot salsa that I had ordered .

A friend from childhood saw that I was in Kauai and on this island full of beauty, beaches, and adventure the only thing she recommended was Da Crack. Swung by here after a long morning of hiking and my gf and I shared 2 different burritos, fish and shrimp. The burritos are huge. You choose your choice of meat and rice, then you can customize burritos with a bunch of great toppings. It looks like the type of fish and veggies change daily, they also have beyond meat. These burritos were amazing. The shrimp was the best burrito I've ever had and the fish was close behind. I thought I might only eat poke here in Kauai, but I'm so glad I stopped at Da Crack. Unfortunately I'll probably never enjoy Mexican on the mainland again I'll just wish I was in Kauai.
