First, I had a 4p appointment and they didn’t start my service until 4:25. She was done with my no-chip manicure before 5p… I can appreciate a quick manicure, but not when corners are cut. First, I asked for all my nails to be trimmed to the same length as one of my nails that had broken. Some were longer, some were shorter. And she never asked or gave me a chance to check the length and shape before starting to paint. My cuticles were never trimmed. The painting was sloppy, there was nail polish on my skin on almost every finger. Plus, many parts were thin enough that the polish was see-through. She never had me rinse or wash my hands, so at the end when she went to rub lotion into my hands, she was also rubbing gritty nail filings all over. For the same reason, multiple nails have bumps because there are nail filings under the gel. All of this, for my “no-chip” manicure to literally chip about 3 hours later. Of note, they will fix chipped manicures within a week of the original service. But I’m not wasting my time. I’ll just have them re-done correctly at a salon that values quality.

Chau the owner is amazing. She is a powerhouse books calls, takes care of the front desk and does the most impeccable manicures around. I've been going here for two decades now and whenever I deviate on vacation or because a friend is having a mani-pedi party somewhere else. I'm always disappointed. Old Town Nails gel I've never had chip I've only had outgrow. Not to mention the dip is thin and beautiful unlike most places who make it thick and fake. I also go to Jan for my pedicures and she is amazing. Years ago I had an elevator close on my toes and she consistently builds acrylic and no one ever notices because she makes it look so natural. If you're looking for a reasonably priced mani-pedi that's going to last hands down this is where you should go.

I've been going to this nail shop for the past three or four months. They are always busy, but do their best to fit you in. My advice: make an appointment! All the staff is friendly and accommodating. I love my nails every time I get them done

Dina is the absolute BEST. My dip manicure always comes out good and I get constant compliments on my nails. Whenever I’m between options, she helps me decide. She cares to have a conversation and always remembers things about you. I also love getting a pedicure from Chen. She takes her time, has a lot of attention to detail, and also gives a nice massage at the end. My nails last a while (more than other places). Whenever people are visiting me from out of town I take them here. Just be sure to call ahead to book a time, but usually they can fit you in same day. Can get pretty busy, so if that’s a problem for you it might not be a good fit. However, it’s busy because it’s the best. I now live in a different neighborhood in the city and I still go back to old town for my nails.

I’ve been going to Old Town Nails for 10 years. I usually have Chau do my nails. She is the best and my nails always look great. Over the years I have had some of the other girls do my nails and they do a great job also. And their prices are very competitive. I moved 2 hours away to Bloomington IL 2 years ago. I tried several nail salons down there but none of them used the right DIP product and never did a good job. So I drive 2 hrs back to Chau for her to continue doing my nails because she is that good. Can’t recommend Old Town Nails enough!

I have had the distinct pleasure of knowing Chau and her Staff for over 20 years; and in that time, she continues to amaze me with her knowledge on the latest Nail Trends; along with providing excellent Customer Service! Whether I get a Pedicure, Acrylic Fill-In, or going all natural; Chau and her Staff not only use quality products; but, they also exhibit compassion and kindness in making sure your nail experience is nothing short of being top-notch!! Thanks, Chau and the entire Old Town Nails Staff for simply being...the BEST!!!

A little disappointed.. The people are nice but I was the first customer and I was rushed. Everyone wanted a regular mani and pedi and I wanted a no chip mani/pedi. As soon as I sat down, I wasn't able to turn on the massage chair because they immediately tag-teamed both my nails and toes (no one else got tag teamed). I was not able to relax, turn on the chair, spend time getting work tasks on my phone while I got my feet done or anything. I walked in at 10 and left at 10:30 on the dot, which is insane to me. Spending money to pamper myself, I expect to relax a little- at least. My nails are OKAY.. they're not exactly what I wanted because I had no time to coach what I wanted while responding to both the ladies and my boss on my phone. Idk.. just a little inconvenient while others maybe prefer that- not exactly what I like. Don't think I'll be returning.
