It's a hot dog place. Wasn't bad, but wasn't great either. For a late lunch (around 3), restaurant wasn't very clean and we were only people there.

This place is great, Homemade honey mustard is the best in world. Rustic crunchy french fries with obnoxious portions tbh but I'm not complaining. One time they didn't have a menu item I thought that did and the owner made me a bomb Chicken parmigiana on brioche bun, incredible. All the flavor and meatyness of the classic red sauce steak sandwich but way more juicy and fresh tasting cause of the chicken. Although when I have tried to order it again the kids working the counter are flabbergasted at the idea. 🤣 Try the new CORN FRITTERS too.

So good. This is 100% a legit Chicago Dog joint. The owner does EVERYTHING the old school right way. Real Fresh Cut Fries. Homemade From Scratch Italian Beef! The BEST Kronos Gyros with their VERY OWN fresh made Tzatzki sauce. Fresh Made sauces. I have been coming here for years & they have never made any changes in quality even with all of the rising expenses these days. Thanks for all of your hard work!!

We are regulars at chi town dogs and I am very disappointed by our order and the way I was treated today. First they forgot an order of fries, they gave two hotdogs with everything on them when we ordered plain, we ordered bbq wings and they gave us buffalo and a side of bbq sauce… not only that but the buns on the hot dogs are hard as a rock and inedible. I called to let them know that the order was incorrect I called for ten min before someone finally answered the phone at 4:50 and they didn’t even say hello he said “ sorry we are closed” and I said I understand but I’m calling to complain about my order” and he just hung up the phone. I am very disappointed with todays service. I didn’t want to post this publicly but you website contact doesn’t even work

I love frequenting this restaurant however I was disappointed with my last visit. I ordered just an bag of fries but the cashier did not follow the proper protocols when handling food items due to Covid still existing. The cashier wasn’t wearing an mask and no gloves either. Not once she did even wash her hands after I handed her my cash either. Although I am fully vaccinated and was wearing an mask, I wasn’t comfortable eating my food and just ended up throwing it away. Unsure if I’ll use this establishment in the future again due to lack of food handling mishaps.
