Trying to replace my car’s headlight was a nightmare. Three other places in town gave me the run around and made it clear they didn’t want to do it because it was difficult to do for my model. Drove my truck to the Auto Zone in Mundelein off of Lake Street for replacement wiper blades and headlamps, and the associate named Joey not only grabbed what I needed right away, but also helped put them onto my vehicle. This above and beyond customer service experience made for a great start to my day! Thanks again Joey, you’re awesome!!

My check engine light was on. And I had stop in to see if I could find out what was going on. I was told they don't personally do that anymore. That I could do it myself. First off I don't know how to do it and secondly I am using two cane to walk. I recently had hip replacement surgery and can not bend down low to see where I need to plug whatever the thing for doing a test. I was very disappointed and left what out purchasing any items which I wanted to do. You don't make exceptions for the elderly or the disable. Shame on you.

***UPDATE-So after I sent them an email, reiterating what happened, I received NO RESPONSE FROM THE STORE OR ANYONE ASSOCIATED WITH AUTOZONE!!! This company has Horrible customer service and doesn't care about their customers at all!! SO NOT SHOP HERE!!! DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! GIVE SOMEONE ELSE YOUR MONEY AND BUSINESS!!!*** Wow, I'm REALLY disappointed in this location. We came here with 20 minutes until close. Spent time looking for our items, and neither associate said anything to us about them closing the cash register early. So when we got to the register to check out and it was 8 minutes to 8pm, they told us it was credit card only for payment. We only have cash on us at the moment. The associate hadn't even started counting the cash drawer yet, and he still insisted that we couldn't pay cash. So while we told him once again that we didn't have a credit card with us, he Then started to count the drawer in front of us. This is Horrible customer service and poor business practice. Your store doesn't say anything about "no cash" or "exact change only", and even if it was "exact change only", we would have provided exact change. Your associates only did this because they wanted to close exactly at 8pm. Which from my experience working in retail, is not proper procedure. They are supposed to take All transactions until the store closes at the posted time, then count the register. WE WILL NOT BE SHOPPING AT ANY AUTO ZONE IN THE FUTURE, AND WILL BE SPREADING THE WORD THAT AUTO ZONE DOESN'T WANT ANYONE'S BUSINESS, THAT AUTO ZONE IS SO RICH THEY DON'T WANT OUR MONEY AND THEY CLOSE THEIR REGISTERS EARLY AND DECLINE CASH TRANSACTIONS!

Came here needed helps in replacing a small battery in my car remote starter. The clerk short guy dark hair said sorry we can’t touch that it’s too sensitive. Horrible experience! So I Went to a different location and got an order immediate help I was in and out in 5 minutes.

They were very nice when my car wouldn't start easily. Quite a scary experience for me. They checked my battery and alternator and determined that both were good and helped me out a lot.

Very friendly staff. My car had the engine light on issue. They rent the tool and explained the possible causes. The staff recommended me to Al's repair shop. Now the problem was solved. I am very happy to visit Autozone. Great experience! Responsible employee!
