My first deep pizza in Chicago. The crust was overcooked, very hard when you eat on. The tomato sauce was delicious. Their salad portion is big. Good to share with friends. Service was friendly and fast.

Even with construction their still serving up great food. Our waitress Yun was fabulous at taking care of us giving updates on how much longer on our food & helping me with my service dog. Pizza was scumptous as always, I had the veggie small my lil brother had the classic small. If you don't like the heavy Chicago style from most places because of all the cheese & sauce. Definitely try Lou's as it's just the right amount of cheese & fresh tomatoes not so much a sauce. The Veggie was so fresh with spinach,mushrooms and tomatoes, I added crumbled sausage which is the only way to have Chicago stuffed pizza.

First time ever having Chicago deep dish pizza and I was super impressed! I got “well done” crust, which as flaky and crispy. I loved the “gooey” crust that we had at the table even more. Just softer and chewy. Not undercooked like the term gooey would imply. We also go the sampler appetizer and they might have been the best mozzarella sticks I’ve ever had!

Visited late on a Saturday night and the restaurant was fairly busy, but had seats available. Service was great and staff was friendly. Entrance was hindered by the on going construction but the building itself didn’t look very welcoming with massive plastic covering of the entrance. There were a stench when you enter and all the way in the hall and the restaurant, a smell of a wet dog or something. Decor was ok, need an uplifting though. Ordered a small Lou Malnati salad which was good and portion size was great. Pizza was good too. A lot of tables were dirty and needed clearing. Our server was very nice and she asked for the refills. Money spent wise it could be better as the smell, decor and the dirty tables put us off.

I ordered two salads at 7:45pm, they told me to come pick them up at 8:05pm. I arrived at 8:00pm and didn’t get my two SALADS until 8:25pm. No grilled chicken, just chopped up raw vegetables and dressing on the side. I didn’t get my salads until I complained it was taking too long for salads. By the way, just because you are standing around the corner from the take-out counter and the customer can’t see you, we can still hear you socializing instead of getting people their orders. A couple other people complained about not getting their orders while I was there so I wasn’t the only one but at least they ordered pizzas. I also didn’t get dressing for one of the salads and received two butts of lettuce and a piece of hair for my trouble

Never had a true chicago deep dish besides Pizzeria Uno, so had to stop and try one visiting chicago. Lou Malnati's is located in the heart of napersville. The restaurant as well as the street outside are undergoing construction. But do not let that deter you. The pizza was very good, the service was good. They had signs up stating that they ship their pizzas anywhere. There is a rear entrance just for carryout pickup. Plenty of parking as well.

Excellent eats. Bit pricy $$. Food was cooked perfectly and had great cheese pulls haha. Servers were busy so inattentive. Waitress came back to our table at least twice to remind herself we needed a box to go. Would dine here again. Dietary restrictions: Has gluten free options

Quality has sadly plummeted over the years. This used to be my favorite pizza place, but the last few times I’ve gotten their pizza they’ve skimped on ingredients and undercooked their pizza (probably to serve more customers as they are still always packed). This time, we ordered a deep dish pizza with extra cheese and a thin crust veggie pizza. I checked the box for “well done/extra crispy” just to avoid getting it undercooked again, but you can see in the photos that the cheese on the deep dish hadn’t even melted as I can see and pull apart the individual cheese slices, and the thin crust is doughy and not even cooked all the way through. Maybe I’ll try other locations as they still have my favorite recipe, but sad to have to give up on this one at least after the consistent let downs.
