Beware!!! This shop is absolutely horrible!!! Stay away from at all costs. Took my car in on May 2nd, was lied to by multiple employees and the car was never fixed. This place finally submitted a supplemental estimate on August 20th resulting in the car being totaled. Then they took over 2 weeks to figure out the final bill. They charged me over $6100 in STORAGE FEES due to their incompetence!! My insurance company USAA( yes I’m a veteran) is suing this establishment. Stay far far far away from this place!!!! This was the worst customer experience I have ever had. While I have used the Westmont location a few times in the past the current management and technicians were terrible. The center is clearly understaffed, but instead of being candid upfront, they have taken the approach to mislead and lie. Daniel, the technician assigned to me, flat out lied on multiple occasions. He continually changed his story as to the status of the repair and the interaction with my insurance company. One lie after another. On top of that, he was impossible to get in contact with even after promising to update me in "a few days". If i hadn't complained vehemently to the manager (Rodney), they may still have my car. The car was ultimately completed 4 weeks after the original promise. I will never use Autonation Collision again. I have passed this along to the General Manager at Laurel BMW recommending they not send their good customers to this location. Services: Body & Trim, Painting

Horrible service. Brought in for quote, didn't hear anything for 3 weeks, call and they said guy who did quote out for 3 weeks, but ordered parts and did not call my insurance company. Brought it in again and woman retook pics and submitted to insurance next week, after calling to complain. They say drop off car, I do, then when I call after a week, since they said repairs should only take a week, NO ONE returns any calls. Insurance company had hard time. After receiving an estimate from Rodney, there was no follow up on scheduling a date on when I can drop off my car for repair. I left voicemails, emails, and spent too much time calling Rodney. The secretary said he is very busy. We are all busy! AutoNation, especially Rodney, needs to have the decency to return messages. Looking at past poor reviews of this place, I’m shocked nothing has been done to improve their business. Please save yourself a headache and look for another auto body repair shop that respects their customers.

I've been waiting 5 and a half weeks for my car to be repaired. No one can give me information on when to leave. The manager works only one, he has not come to work for 3 weeks. I call every day and every day the same story. Very unprofessional!!!! It's still the same. They haven't set out to fix my car yet! I just wanna let you know guys , i am still waiting for almost 4 months!!!! If you are smart you will never go there! Thank you

My car is with the Autonation now for 5 weeks and still my insurance does not have estimates. When I call it goes to Voice mail with no response. If they do not have time to give estimates in 5 weeks then at least say upfront. I am without may car. This is not good.

Horrible customer service! No follow up! I left emails, voicemails and requested call back with the front desk...NOTHING!! My front hood had paint chips within a month of a paint job (new hood)! Complained to Jason that came outside of the shop to look at the damage, told me he would be right back, walked back inside and didn't come back out! Left me out there for over 20 minutes! I flagged down Rodney (general manager). He promised me that they will repaint the whole hood if necessary. Since then, they have not contacted me back! I purchased 2 vehicles from Autonation over the past 7 years. I am due to replace them both but will NOT give Autonation anymore business! Amazing this type of behavior is tolerated by the parent company! It is so much easier to keep repeat customers but they do not care! I will go out of my way to warn everyone to stay away from this company! UPDATE: We all knew the automated bs response would be posted to our reviews! They have my phone number but won't take the time to call back. Don't believe it. We spent a good amount of money purchasing these vehicles for only to have shops like this screw us over when they are put in charge of repairs.

I was directed to this shop by my insurance company. Dropped off the car a week ago and still have not talked to my claims adjustor, Rodney. I have called twice in the past week to confirm that they have my car. When I asked to speak to someone else that might have any information, I was told that Rodney was literally the only person I could get any information from. I will be picking up my car and taking it somewhere else. UPDATE - They finally called me, so it's there for now. However, my insurance company says that they have still not been contacted. This review is very long, but please read it to discover how retarded the people at this shop are and how horrible quality work they produce. If I could give (-)5 stars, that would be my rating. My van was involved in an accident that required repairs to be done. The first repair was the back doors needed to be changed. The shop did change the doors, but they painted them the wrong color. After telling them the issue they fix the color, but they got paint on by bumper step and never cleaned it off. Then they incorrectly rewire the trailer hitch outlet which poses a danger. I ask for them to use an outlet tester to make sure everything works, but they told me that they don’t have one. I have to take from my time to go to another shop to get the wiring done correctly. They proceeded to tell me that they never worked on the wire when it is very clear work has been done on the wires. This shop thinks that its customers are blind. Inside the van I had electrical cabinets. Two of them towards the end needed to be replaced. The shop took off my old cabinets, but then they decided to install just shelves, not the same cabinets that I had. As an electrical contractor, I need electrical cabinets so I can organize my supplies and tools. They fix the problem by disassembling my old cabinets (after I specifically told them not to touch my old cabinets since it is my property) and putting parts from the old cabinets in the shelves to make them into “cabinets”. This shop had no right to take my old cabinets since they were my property. So now my cabinets/shelves in the van look like garbage because the shop did not install the correct cabinets. I can truly say that everyone from this shop are idiots. They cannot do any type of wiring correctly, cannot install correct cabinets, and cannot paint correctly. Oh, they also dented my van and cut cables that I had around my spare tire. They were not able to unlock the lock, and yes, I gave them the key. A person that cannot unlock a lock with a key, meets the definition of an idiot. Another proof that they are idiots is that I told them not to touch my old cabinets, and they proceeded to disassemble them. Do yourself a favor and never step foot into this shop no matter if you drive a cargo van or the most expansive Mercedes Benz. I was forced by the insurance company to go to this shop. The funny thing is that this shop is certified by Mercedes Benz. I expected a Mercedes Benz certified shop to produce quality work, but I was wrong. I feel very sorry for anyone that had their car taken here.
