Have lived in the area four years, this store was fine for the first two. Then they started going downhill. Started not being able to navigate the store because of all the crates in aisles. Then about a year ago they started closing at 5, and now it's less than 50/50 if they even open at all. Wish they would close it and let another store have a chance.

This site is never open and they say new hours because of COVID. Don't lie you can't day it's because of COVID it's because your employees don't work and you should permanently close thus site and fire everyone of the employees or hire people that will work. I have gone into this site and all the employees do is stand around and talk and if you are going to close turn off the lights so we don't waste time because I will not return to this store.

I just changed my rating from one to five stars because of how quickly Dollar General has come in and cleaned up this store. In less than a week they have transformed it from an overcrowded death trap to a clean, organized store. Thanks to everyone involved.

Today I visited this store location as I often do. I'm a repeat customer of this location (or at least I was). Often times when I visit this location they've been short staff, closed earlier, and even at times there’s a small amount of freight on the sales floor waiting to be stocked. However today's visit was by far the worse visit I've ever had. Upon walking to the entrance there is a handwritten sign on the door stating that until further notice the hours had changed due to a lack of staff. Not the most professional look but hey whatever works! After entering in the there weren't many customers in the store at the time and all the staff available were conjugated behind the register area chatting. The reason for my visit today was to pick up some paper towels, napkins, and toilet paper. As I walked toward the aisle there was stuff EVERYWHERE! I had to move a "cage" of freight that was blocking the aisle just to get to the aisle with the napkins. Only to determine that I would not be able to pick up toilet paper during this visit because it was several cages on the aisle blocking my access. I do realize that times are different and there may be a struggle keeping reliable staff however in the condition of this store what's the point of having it open if the customers don't have access to the items they stopped in to get. My background is surly not in retail however might I'd suggest that the store be closed until its clean up and ready for customers. At its current states as a customer said while I was in the store today "the current conditions is dangerous and unaccusable."

Never know if they are opened or closed. The aisles are always blocked making it hard to get down an aisle. Is always trashed up shelves half empty because product is piled on carts. Could be a nice store but as of now it isn't.

Dollar General owners, managers, human resource do you look at these reviews? We have lived in this area for many many years and use this store often. But lately it is just horrendous! What is going on!? It’s dirty, floors never cleaned, I mean washed!!The carts are full in the isles. Blocking shelves, I had to squeeze in to reach something I wanted to buy. A lot of shelves are empty while the carts are full in the isles. There is no other store close by for quick purchases. We have to drive 10 minutes just to get to this store and find out it is closed, with no explanation at all. People want explanations. FIX THIS PROBLEM!! Where are the managers, general manger etc. Get busy and fix it!!

I changed this review from a 3 to a 1 1..You never know if they will be open or not can't tell you how many times they have had a sign in the window saying we can't or have to close 2..the store was once very clean organized, staff was great now you have to climb over or move boxes to get what you need if you can find I'm surprised no one has been hurt So if you live in the Wanamaker area and Franklin township the best dollar general that is clean well organized is Thompson rd and Arlington it sits behind the cvs

Twice I’ve stopped during the day and the store is closed? A cart in front of the door with a hand written sign “store closing at 5P. With this store being almost the only store here (a cvs) why is it always so unkept with stock on every isle & dirty! I’m sure it brings in enough money to pay a Manager & employees very well! ..now it’s not open past 5P? I wish they would just close it & open a different store there.
